As your lawyer, I will provide you with practical, intelligent and efficient legal advice. I am assertive in negotiations and, if necessary, trial or contested hearing. My goal is to educate you about your legal options from the beginning to the end of your case and support and advise you in making the best decisions for you.

Knowing your rights is crucial! If you are questioned by law enforcement or are charged with a crime, you need an advocate to protect your civil liberties and to encourage a fair process. Having criminal charges brought against you can. Please call me for advice on the following matters: Delinquency: The area of criminal law applicable to persons not old enough to be held responsible for criminal acts.

I am a native Vermonter. I graduated from Colchester High School in Colchester, Vermont, the University of Vermont, and the University of Wyoming College of Law. As the first college graduate in my family, I worked three jobs to support myself through college and volunteered my time in many campus and community organizations.
Thank you for helping us gain full custody of our daughter. Relating personally with us made us feel comfortable and we appreciate your persistence and professionalism. Thank you for everything! I find Attorney Katina Francis Ready smart, engaging, extremely hard working and devoted. We spent many long hours together preparing for my case, and Katina was always focused, vigilant, and dedicated to doing the best possible job she could.
If you are questioned by law enforcement or are charged with a crime, you need an advocate to protect your civil liberties and to encourage a fair process. Having criminal charges brought against you can be stressful. Not knowing your rights can be devastating. If you have been questioned or arrested, do not delay in contacting me.
Delinquency: The area of criminal law applicable to persons not old enough to be held responsible for criminal acts. In most states, the age for criminal culpability is set at 18 years. Abuse or Neglect: Child abuse and neglect are defined by Federal and State laws. In Vermont allegations of abuse or neglect can be brought in criminal court, family court or both.

I am sure if you are lucky enough to be chosen by Ms. Ready she is a good lawyer, but she is too busy to provide adequate service to new clients. I was given advice to get a continuance which I worked hard to get so I could get a counseling meeting a month in advance, then I was told by Katina that oops I am sorry but I am too busy and can't represent you. Very disappointing.
