The agency was established in 1925 by S.A. Chalk and H.S. Gibbs. The Chalk family and the Gibbs family have been in partnership for 94 years serving the insurance and real estate needs of Eastern North Carolina. Honesty, stability, integrity and service to the customer have been instilled by the founders and carried forward to now the fourth generation of family members.
We are constantly working toward the common goal of better customer service. The company now represents many major fire and casualty companies, life and health insurance companies, while at the same time a broker's license allows them to work as agents for other insurance companies, giving a broader base from which to operate.

Unprofessional bullies. They wrongfully terminate rental contracts and evict SINGLE MOTHERS during the holiday season! Her rent is paid faithfully every month. Will never recommend.
I can expound further on this review if someone from this "family friendly" "company" would like me to give them a call.
I seriously can't believe she has to find a place for herself and her sweet daughter during the holiday season in a time when rentals are very hard to come by.
I will share this story with anyone thinking about renting from this company.

Critical: Professionalism
Found them to be extremely unprofessional and not helpful in the least. Staff did not seem to be aware of rules or what each other was doing in regards to leasing. Our situation and information was discussed in the lobby! There seems to be tension between the workers there and it was not a pleasant experience.
