Synergy Physical Therapy believes there is more to physical therapy than rehabilitating an injury and sending the patient home. This treatment approach should promote a complete life transformation. Our team holds this philosophy to the highest regard and works with patients to expedite their recovery. At Synergy Physical Therapy, you are more than just a body part, you are a teammate. I've been going there because I have mild carpal tunnel and wanted to avoid getting steroid shots often or even surgery.
Services
By talking to patients so they understand their individual plan of treatment and discussing their unique goals, we find that patient accountability rises and outcomes drastically improves. During the deconstruction phase, we focus on the breaking down of scar tissue, tight muscles, and bad habits. During reconstruction, we are strengthening and conditioning the muscles through proper mechanics.
Our therapists take the time to understand your unique needs and goals, and use only manual techniques with proven results. Explore our services below to learn more about how we create a treatment plan customized for you. Designed to reduce trigger point tension by inserting a very fine needle into muscles to reduce pain and improve function.
The staff work as a team and each one supports my progress. Everyone is very patient when explaining how to do an exercise, especially when someone needs repeated cues as to what to do. Vincent and the team at Synergy have been critical support in helping me recover from months of muscle and mobility loss due to an ACL and meniscus injury that required surgery.
Dry Needling is a technique to reduce trigger point tension by inserting a very fine needle into muscles to reduce pain and improve function. Any treatment that has "needle" in the name might seem a bit unpleasant, but dry needling is not as scary as it sounds. Dry needling targets trigger points, which are areas in connective tissue that limits motions and causes pain.
The way a person walks, or their "gait, " is as much a part of their individual identity as their fingerprint. Whether they saunter, stroll, or strut, their walk can say a lot about their personality, as well as their health. Gait training is an important component of many physical therapy plans.
In order to ensure perfect gait mechanics, we use a combination of strength, flexibility and balance training to get the patient to effectively and safely move through space.Gait training is ESSENTIAL in rehabilitating from any injury/surgery from low back down to the the legs, and even if you are injury free, everyone can benefit from a better walk.

I cannot be MORE grateful for the team at Synergy!! They are knowledgeable, caring and have the best sense of humor! (Which is NECESSARY in the world of PT) I was SO IMPRESSED with their level of care and concern, that I brought my daughter in as well for help with her migraines. I will continue to refer family and friends to the awesome team at Synergy! Keep up the great work, guys!!!

Everyone at Synergy is exactly what a person needs that needs PT. They are caring, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, helpful, and so much more. I have been able to get my life back in so many ways and able to maintain a relatively pain free life. The therapists at SPT teach you to help yourself, not just a quick fix. Peace, blessings, and JOY to all at SPT.

Though I do believe that Vincent and Alicia are very competent therapists, ultimately I really did not feel heard during my visits there while recovering from a hip surgery but still dealing with bone on bone arthritis in my knee that was scheduled for surgery, I wanted to help strengthen my new hip without jeopardizing my already painful knee That did not happen. I found a new therapist for my knee replacement, and four weeks later my knee is successfully rehabilitated. I think Vincent's heart is in the right place but I think communication could be improved

I feel very thankful I found Synergy Physical Therapy. Everyone from the front office to the wonderful doctors and therapists are very encouraging. They are extra up beat knowing that in some cases it is difficult for patients like me to understand what muscles I should be using to relieve the pain I have been experiencing. I have recommended them to everyone I know who needs this type of therapy. Definitely FIVE STAR

This is the physical therapy gym you are looking for!
After trying out a couple of PT offices for lower back pain and abdominal separation (multiple pregnancies), I was disappointed in the progress I was making. Until I found Synergy....
The evaluation was thorough and got to the real root of my pain. After only two visits, I am no longer experiencing ANY pain in my lower back, I am much more stronger than ever before, and my posture (a serious issue of mine growing up) has significantly improved.
The team here really does care and make you feel comfortable. I enjoy my appointments and look

I've been going there because I have mild carpal tunnel and wanted to avoid getting steroid shots often or even surgery. They have helped so much! Everyone that works there is super nice and friendly. The environment is great too it's laid back and not super stuffy like other physical therapy places I've been too. They aren't afraid to have fun with the patients.

Synergy is the best physical therapy place I've been to. Everyone there deeply cares about getting you feeling better. You're not a number to Vincent, it's very personalized and the communication between you, Vincent and the other therapists is great.

This is the second time my foot and ankle surgeon has referred me to Synergy Physical Therapy and Rehab. Synergy's approach to focus on whole body strengthening and balance issues as well as Achilles recovery has helped bring back quality to my daily exercise choices. I am grateful for the expertise of the head therapist Vincent and everyone who has been involved in my rehab program. My surgeon is also pleased that I am a much stronger senior citizen.

Went here for my shoulder because I had surgery done on my labrum. They are very friendly and give every client their full attention, and they won't let you slack off. You learn alot in terms of posture and proper movement while performing the exercises. It's great because if you do any type of sport or training their proper techniques transfer over easily. One piece of advice is to do their recommended exercises at home when ever you can. It helps out big time. I had to learn the hard way.

This past week I lifted weights once (including 75 squats, 75 lunges per Dr. Peries), 1 tennis lesson, 1 singles match, 1 doubles, 4 mile run, 2 hot yogas, 7.5 mile hike on Saturday, 10K race yesterday, and today I am pain free. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Dr. Peries & Synergy P.T. And at all times I'm ACTIVE WALKING focusing on using my glutes. Besides helping alleviate my pain, Dr. Peries trained me how to walk, run, hike using better mechanics. I'm so grateful to be able to run again.

I went to Synergy a year and a half ago with a torn shoulder that I suffered with for years.Eventually I couldn't lift my arm above my shoulder due to the pain. Vincent was awesome! In 2 months going only twice a week he got me back to full range of motion. I was totally impressed. Currently I have a wrenched trapezius muscle that is pinching a nerve in my neck. My Dr. recommended physical therapy. Back to Synergy and Vincent!
I also agree with the other review. Vincent works you hard and works hard on you and gives you homework exercises that are challenging. But I am absolutely sure that

The facility is very clean, nice and modern.
Vincent, the Owner, is very knowledgeable and really educates his patients. He really knows what he is doing and I have watched him work with patients of all ages. Vincent is never in a hurry, answers all of your questions and always has a smile on his face.

Go see Vincent. He is the owner and only physical therapist at Synergy - which means you will have him 1 on 1 at every session. His building is extremely open, inviting and conducive to training. In a day and age where so many offices now have multiple PTs, PT aids and a "get in, get out" attitude, this is an office where you will get the 1 on 1 interaction that will get you feeling better sooner rather than later.
