Services
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

Jacob Whitaker and his family, along with their staff at Whitaker Funeral Home took the necessary time and patience with our family as we prepared for my mother's service. They are more than caring and compassionate and the sense of family is always present. They were respectful and professional at all times and I highly recommend using them. Their Funeral Home is stunning and a beautiful place to have services for your loved ones. Our family has used them several times over the decades and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I remember growing up and Tom was so cute and the first year of School he broke his arm, not once but twice. Our Mom said someone will have to
