Staff members of Hampton Gentry Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Manuel and Karen both graduated from Plainfield High School in 1975 and 1976 respectively.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.

My mom passed away while I was in town visiting from Florida. My sister had used Hampton Gentry when her husband passed, and several local friends also recommended them. I can now understand why. Understandably it was a difficult time and we were all a bit frazzled. Wendell took very good care of us and made sure every detail was handled. He was also very kind and accommodating.

Handling the arrangements for a loved one is never easy. After receiving an unbelievable quote for services from another home i called Hampton Gentry and spoke with Wendell. His helpfulness and understanding was so very much appreciated and the costs well within reason.
