Services
David has been studying Martial Arts for over 30 years and currently holds a 4th degree black belt. He has taught character, karate and self defense to students of all ages all over the valley. He is known for his enthusiasm, passion for teaching, and amazing ability to connect with children. Scott Brewer is lead instructor for All-Star Karate Moon Valley.
Designed especially for students aged 3-7, from the very shy to the extremely outgoing! We specialize in making sure your child receives the unique instruction they need to succeed. This is a perfect introduction to Martial Arts for your little one with an emphasis on character building and discipline through fun drills.
I love All Star Karate and Karate Dave. He treats the children and parents with respect. Children, and adults, of all races and learning abilities are welcome here and beginners are taught well without being intimidated. My boys have learned a lot and I've seen many positive changes in their attitude and improvement in their balance and skills.

We love All-star Karate!!! Dave, Ruth, Matt and Dejah and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing! This has been so great for my son. We go 3 days a week and always leave smiling. My son tells everyone about karate and everything he learns. The classes really do help your child in multiple ways. Thank you so much!!!

My daughter has been attending All-star karate for about a year. She is a purple belt and has gained so much discipline, respect, skill and confidence. The instructor karate Dave is great with the kids. He is encouraging, tough when he has to be and skillful when teaching. My daughter loves her classes.

This is an amazing place for kids to learn Karate. Dave and the team of instructors Scott, Matt and Ruth are great with kids. They are caring, professional and so dedicated. Most of all, they make learning fun which instills so much interest in kids to attend the class and do their homework. My son has been going here for a couple of years now and I'm so happy with his progress. What makes this school stand out is the overall experience. It's not just about Karate. Dave finds opportunity in almost every class to talk about a variety of other topics that build character in kids. A fantastic experience

I am absolutely in love with this place. It has a family feel, you feel like people who are appreciated, remembered, missed and welcome each time. I have 2 kids on spectrum who I'm always nervous can't stay on task like the typical kids, or who may look different. Everyone is appreciated for their hard work. There is no criticism, there is always praise, recognition and corrections are done in a discrete private way so kids don't even feel like they're doing things "wrong". My son and I take karate classes together and it is amazing! I love that we have an opportunity to bond doing something we both enjoy. Karate Dave is a master teacher who is positive and encouraging while still having high expectations. He gives specific feedback to each student in the class based on their level - there is no one size fits all teaching here. After a long day at work, there is nothing better than spending quality time with my son and getting to kick stuff.

Being a martial arts instructor at one time myself, I couldn't think of a better place for my daughter to start her martial arts training. All-Star Karate has a comfortable, family type atmosphere. The children are taught respect and discipline inside and outside the dojo. The instructors do a great job of keeping the classes fun, while still maintaining the needed structure and increasing the difficulty levels in each child as they grow in their abilities. Speaking from experience, this isn't an easy task considering the different age levels and amount of diversity in each class. This

Had my 5 year old son's karate birthday party today. It was FANTASTIC. Karate Dave was great with all the kids and made our son's experience really special. The dojo is huge and immaculate, and even has a great playground in the back. Board breaking, practical karate instruction, and cutting cake with a samurai sword = awesome birthday party! I will definitely recommend All Star Karate to all my friends and family.

Karate Dave is amazing with my son and the other kids in the class. My son has a fairly difficult time paying attention in normal school and activities, but Karate Dave keeps his attention the entire time. This is the one activity that my son has done where he has excelled and loves to attend all the time even though it can be difficult. Every kid should go to All Star Karate.

Karate Dave is super fun while teaching the kids respect and obedience without the child even realizing they are actually learning some great skills. My son loves his style, and so do we!

We have followed Karate Dave from his previous offerings in the community to his current dojo in Peoria in order to continue the excellent teaching for our daughter and son. From my experiences, I believe the very best characteristics of studying the martial arts are found at this school. It also feels good to support a family business rather than a corporation. Dave connects with the students in a very meaningful way, firm but encouraging. His wife Lisa helps with camps, birthday parties, and works in the front office. This is the coolest karate studio! Two of my boys go here, and they love it! Karate Dave is wonderful with the kids. He is teaching them self defense and respect all while having a great time. The whole family is welcome to stay and watch, and there is a playground if you have little ones that are not in the class. My oldest son participated in a summer camp here as well. He had a blast, and it was the highlight of his summer. I would highly recommend All Star Karate whether for classes, birthday parties, or summer camp. Your kids will love it!

We started with All Star last December when they first opened and just happened to come across them from a referral and was not disappointed. Dave is a great instructor and they have created a fantastic environment for the kids and adults. My son went for 7 months until he earned his green belt and always looked forward to going every week. I would highly recommend them.

If you want to have fun while getting in shape and learning some martial arts, this place is perfect for the whole family!! My three kids have been going to Karate Dave back when he was teaching class at Master Coronas. Now that he has his own school, I have also starting going to the family classes with them. We go 2 days a week for the family class and then on friday for sparring class. I stay 1 night a week for the adult class. My kids love it(they have all earned 5 belts under Karate Dave) and I am totally hooked. I am getting in great shape and learning awesome moves at the same time. Karate
