I was born and raised in Le Mars, Iowa in an avid farming family and purchased and managing several apartments. After graduating from Westmar College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1974, I began my career in real estate with a large nearby firm. It didn't take long to learn I had a true passion for selling real estate and in 1976, opened my own brokerage firm in Le Mars, Iowa -Lance Sitzmann Real Estate.
1980 Obtained my IA RE license and been with husband, Lance Sitzmann Real Estate as a Realtor and established in 1976. It was an easy family decision to join forces with Lance because we knew we wanted a challenge and the satisfaction that comes along with helping clients realize the American Dream, home ownership.
As a second generation Realtor, I have found my strength comes from the many years of living and being around the business. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree from Creighton University in 1993 I became a full time Realtor and have dedicated myself to "Bringing Buyers & Sellers Together" and absolutely love what I do.
Peggy has been an active community member in Le Mars for over ten years and she is excited to be turning that community focus toward a career in real estate. It was a natural fit to join forces with her husband Shane and his parents, Lance & Patty to grow the Sitzmann Real Estate Team. This allows her to carry out the values of hard work, integrity, and outstanding customer service into helping clients buy and sell real estate.

My wife and I have been considering a move to the Le Mars area and had the pleasure of speaking with Shane at a sporting event. He seemed very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome without even moving there yet! He was very professional and there wasn't a question that he didn't know the answer to, it seemed. Thanks, Shane.
