Dr. Briggs is a North Carolina native and graduated from the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. He also serves as a captain in the U.S. Army National Guard and volunteers for Mission of Mercy and Remote Area Medical, in addition to donating his time in free clinics for those in need of dental care.

A native of North Carolina, Dr. Briggs graduated from the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and has continued his education with Spear Education in order to provide the latest techniques and technology to his patients and the soldiers he serves.

My recent visit with Dr. Briggs office was fantastic from the very beginning. The young lady at the front desk was more than flexible trying to get me an appointment on a day that worked for my schedule and was quick to call me on a cancellation if they had one. The hygienist Jessica had a wonderful personality and was very gentle during my cleaning. Dr. Briggs was very thorough with his exam and helped answer any and all dental concerns I was having. The older lady in the back (I'm sorry I forgot her name) was truly the best person I have ever encountered when dealing with insurance questions

Dr. Briggs and his team are professional and kind. My tooth started hurting during our vacation in the Shenandoah National Park. We came down from the park and called a couple dental offices nearby since I am from NJ. Dr. Briggs' office took my appointment on the same day, and they stayed after office hours to take care of my tooth. Everyone was so thoughtful and compassionate. Thank you, Dr. Briggs and your wonderful team!!

I haven't been to a dentist in a couple of years and the people at Briggs Family Dental were very welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable! Angel was my hygienist and she did an amazing job helping clean my teeth. Dr. Briggs was also amazing and spent time to get to know me. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I was so impressed by my dental experience with Briggs. This was my two year old sons first time visiting the dentist and the staff made his appointment fun and education for the both of us! As for my cleaning, the staff was very thorough and did a great job explaining the condition of my teeth and ways to make them better without casting judgment. I am so appreciative of our experience and look forward to our next visit in six months. If you are looking for a dentist in the New Market area I highly recommend this one

The initial visit was very thorough and the hygienist explained what she was doing and why. Even though it had been years since my last cleaning it was not painful.
The week after the cleaning a piece broke off a tooth and they were able to fit me in a couple days. They did an onlay in the office. Dr. Briggs is careful and gentle. I am happy with the results.
