What I call conversational portraiture, two old friends having a conversation. Sharing stories while being photographed, it is a sure way for people to look their best. The questions I am asked on many occasions, is why have professional headshots? Why can't a friend of mine take the head shots, he/she has a great camera?

How will I be remembered in a portrait or a picture? If I had it to do again would I be remembered the same or much better? I might only have been in candid pictures at a family gathering and never in a group with the family that were closest to me. You have probably seen a picture or a portrait that even though you couldn't put your finger on why it had that something extra.
Gainesville children and baby portraits should be taken regular, especially babies, as they grow so fast. People over the years have always taken candid portraits of their children and babies, the only thing that has changed are the tools. Many people don't even print their pictures out (Gasp). Phones die, cds, and dvds fade, prints are far more lasting.

I have used Mike Shea Photography on two occassions. The first one he spent several hours trying to get my dog to cooperate with him. FINALL, my dog did and I have a gorgeous picture of him sitting in my living room.
The next time I wanted some pictures of me to send to my kids and friends. Mike, once again was so patient with me and helped me review all the pictures until we both felt like we had selected the very best.
I can't recomment Mike highly enough for his patience and skill. He definitiely has a "gift" with this art.
