I've had the fortune of photographing hundreds of families in the Gainesville and North Central Florida area for over 10 years. I am originally from Annapolis Maryland where I grew up in a household of professional musicians - both my parents were in the Naval Academy Band for 20 plus years!
Much to the surprise of my parents - I became a professional Disc Jockey at 18 and did that for 10 years - you know - when they actually had things called vinyl records! I started my photography journey while living in England and Ireland - the landscape is so spectacular. When I started having children - I thought they were pretty spectacular too!

All of my sessions are scheduled on-location. I primarily use the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, which offers a nice variety of spectacular backdrops, and best of all - your entry to the park is complimentary. If Urban is your thing, then the downtown art murals are super cool. Of course the UF Campus is a must if we are capturing Cap & Gown pictures.
I love to capture children and families in a very relaxed manner. It's truly like a playdate for the the young ones, or "hanging out" for older kids - no overwrought posing or cajoling, just very easy-going and stress-free for all involved. I use a variety of games to capture natural and genuine expressions.
I bring my relaxed and casual style to my High School Seniors and Individual Sessions too. I'm the first to admit I'm not a glamour photographer. I am super laid back and will help you relax and show off your personality. We'll find that perfect location - bring a few outfits and props (instruments, sporting equipment, and even your pet) and I'll tell you a few jokes to break the ice!
University of Florida Graduation Sessions can either be scheduled by yourself, your family, or a group of your besties! Sessions are usually scheduled the week leading up to graduation day - but we can of course schedule anytime that is best for you.
Some of my favorite locations are the Ben Hill Griffith Stadium, the Albert and Alberta statue, The Plaza of the Americas, in front of the Century Tower, and the iconic University of Florida sign at the corner of University and 13th.Let me know If there is another location you'd like to be at - I'll work with you to find that perfect spot!

Spring and Fall Sunflower Sessions at Coon Hollo Corn Maze are scheduled for the months of May and October only. The great people over at Coon Hollo have given me exclusive permission to photograph during the week and evenings when they are closed to the public. It's the ultimate playground for all you Sunflower lovers!
