Taking care of one's mental health is just as important as taking care of one's physical health. However, people are less likely to consider any form of mental health treatment until it becomes absolutely necessary. Instead of waiting for the treatment to reach its worst state, Dr. Mekles and his team can provide customized treatment to help patients through it.
When it comes to treating mental illness and addiction, there is no one-size-fits-all treatment method. With that in mind, we can customize the treatment to the patient's mental and physical needs. The treatment itself will involve a combination of various treatment methods, therapy and possible medication.
If you regularly have excessive, intense fears about everyday activities and situations, then you can benefit from anxiety treatment. People who have an anxiety disorder typically experience sudden feelings of intense fear or anxiety that can culminate in a panic attack. Anxiety can interfere with a person's daily life and it can be tough to control without treatment.
When depression sets in, it may feel like a dark shadow will never leave you, and you may even think depression therapy will not work. Nevertheless, it is possible to treat even the worst case of depression. Therefore, if depression is inhibiting your lifestyle, then it is time to get help. Many effective treatments are available to help you get over depression, regain hope and happiness, and take control of your life.
A psychiatric evaluation may be necessary for people who struggle with mental health complications. These can include social withdrawal, concentration issues or unexplained mood changes. No matter the type of issue and the person's struggle with the symptoms, we can help customize the treatment for the patient's needs.

Dr. Mekles literally saved my life. After taking a birth control that I didn't react well to, I had panic attacks for 4 days straight. Dr Mekles was incredibly quick to see me and prioritize my mental well being. I called him at 9:30 PM and 7 AM and to both of those he was extremely responsive and caring. I am feeling 100% better after his support and would highly recommend him if you are looking for someone to ease your nerves and get you back to feeling normal. My friends and family even know his name at this point. Thank you Dr. Mekles!

Dr. Mekles doesn't care for his patients. He never looks you in the eye. He's always distracted with something else while on virtual calls. He lacks empathy. He dismisses whatever you have to say by quickly prescribing the first medication. My therapist communicated with him over text, and he said Dr. Mekles was bizarre and unprofessional in his replies. He has a lot of good reviews on ZocDoc which my therapist and I find suspicious. I don't write reviews, but because this deals with mental health, I think it's important for anyone to understand before booking an appointment.
