In-person exercises and hands on care will challenge your body to move better so you get results! Dr. Benson is an absolute genius when it comes to human anatomy. He can read the human body as though it was his very own, and that makes one feel completely seen and understood.
When working with him, if I told him that a particular movement felt "off" or painful, he would know exactly what minor tweek would work to relieve the discomfort yet keep the exercise in my repertoire.I came to Forefront and Dan Benson after flopping around on a parking strip like a spawned-out salmon, 20 miles into the Portland Marathon.

EviCore is a third party business that works for insurance companies to limit your access to physical therapy and other health related benefits. This is done through an authorization process which is used to determine whether or not your movement issue qualifies for insurance coverage. Their system increases paperwork thereby reducing the amount of time healthcare practitioners may spend working with patients.
Our vision is to make Forefront the most sought after physical therapy practice in the U.S. Most athletes never reach their full potential due to injury or biomechanics. We guide athletes* through individualized, activity-specific exercise and dynamic hands-on strategies so their full potential is achieved.
Manny enjoys an active lifestyle and healthy food. His favorite thing to do is to spend time on the soccer field. Talk to him about soccer and food and his small eyes will just open wide. He often frequents the gym for a couple hours prior to starting his day (usually 5am) - Manny takes care of his body by exercising and eating well so he can be more successful in helping others take care of their bodies.

I had pain around hip joint after several falls from snowboarding. After analyzing several movements, Dan diagnosed it with labral tear or some inflammation around it. I was assigned some daily drills for a week, and they hit the right muscle groups to relieve the pain. I was pain free after a week and Dan suggested various supplementary stretches for general mobility for hips, hamstring, glutes and IT bands. Not just pain relieve but some education for me on preventive measure. Couldn't be a happier person.

I have had treatment with Dr. Dan at both 4th ave and SLU locations and have to say, it is the best I have gotten in my last 7 years of being injured (and going through many different PTs before). Dan always answered my questions and taught me in details about the injury, how to prevent it and recover better than ever. I am a fan of the active recovery approach here that allowed me to continue with my activities while also treating my injuries. Best PT office in Seattle, hands down!

As a professional athlete I wanted the best Physical therapy in my area. I was referred to Dr. Benson and it was the best decision I have ever made. I came to Dr. Benson with a grade III ankle sprain. I thought my life was completely over and I would never have a chance at making an Olympic Team. Within MONTHS Dr. Benson reduce the swelling up to 50% and gave me my life back on sports. I ended up competing on the show Next Olympic Hopeful and winning a spot on Team USA in the sport of Skeleton. Dr. Benson helped me achieve my goals and become one step closer to making an Olympic Team. He was so

If you are looking for the best physical therapist in Seattle, look no further! I've gone to Dan for 3 separate issues, and he is a magician. After just one session with him, I always notice a change in my symptoms. I've seen him for a bad hamstring injury, an ankle injury, and currently seeing him for my knee injury and he just knows what he is doing. He not only listens and is clearly an expert, but he's also a great human. I've recommended him to many people, some who had did not have the best experience with their Physical Therapist (not at Forefront), and everyone always has the best things

Dan is the best. He communicates very well not only what specific exercises to do but also the bigger picture so you can really know where you are at and how to improve. Very adaptive based on my response and is able to bring me back from injury better than before. Their new location is also amazing with a lot more space to really expand their capabilities. Overall very satisfied.

As someone who has been a runner for 30 years, I’ve had many opportunities to see physical therapists for a wide variety of reasons. I’ve never met anyone as knowledgeable about exercise physiology as Dr. Dan Benson. He has this amazing ability to read your mechanics and quickly hone in on what needs work. There is no sense of a “one size fits all” here at all - something I’ve experienced all too often with other PTs. On top of this, Dan just genuinely cares. It’s a pleasure to go see him. You feel empowered with new knowledge of how your body works, and how it could work better. I

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Manny. I was hesitant to go and see someone with my ongoing various leg problems but I am really happy I came here. He worked with me through a few weeks and I have gotten a lot better, I can run long distances again and now I know how I can keep myself in shape to stay injury free.
Overall; great support, understanding and professionalism!

I was only a patient for around 1.5 months due to not living permanently in the area, but I already saw marked improvement with my knees and shoulders during that short time. I highly recommend both Dr. Dan and Dr. Manny, I truly felt empowered through their expertise in helping my body recover and reach its full capacity and enjoyed every session. I do prefer the Belltown location because there are less people around (but that's a personal preference). I will definitely come back if I'm in the Seattle area again.

Dr. Benson is a great physical therapist! He always made sure to examine different exercises to pick the ones that worked best for me, and always checked up at each session how they were going, and made adjustments to optimize my recovery. I appreciated the recordings he did (with my permission). He would describe the exercises and point out things to remember as I did the movements. This allowed me to make sure I was doing them properly at home and reminded me of small details I would otherwise forget.
