Services
Huber funeral homes has three locations: Eden Prairie, Excelsior and Mound. We began serving the West suburbs in 1950. The Huber's have built a tradition on providing the best professional care and personalized service to the families they serve. The staff at Huber Funeral Homes can assist you in arranging a funeral service that will be meaningful and special to you and your family.
At Huber Funeral Homes, we provide both funeral and cremation services. You will be meeting with one of our staff who will be asking personal information about the deceased in order to help plan the funeral, prepare the obituary and complete the necessary documents. Because some of these facts may be difficult to obtain, you should locate the necessary information before you meet with us.
Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
G. K. Chesterton wrote, Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Each should be honored and remembered, so that our gratitude never fades.
All we need to do is say the word "funeral" and within microseconds, you have an image in your mind of what a funeral looks like. This mental image comes from many sources: the geographical place, culture and society in which we live; our faith; our life experience.

Obviously then, a funeral service in Borneo would look very different from one held in Tanzania; there are even significant differences between the funerals held in ethnically and/or geographically diverse regions of North America.Yet, despite the differences, these funeral services have much in common.

My family held a funeral recently here. The staff went above and beyond for the family involved. The venue is beautifully calm and welcoming. We would highly recommend. We are also British and so the staff helped the family with what they needed throughout the process.

The Huber's have been taking care of my family for 2 generations now. Great family and they give personal service with dignity. They never take advantage of you in this time. Always compassion through the whole process. Seriously, I would not take the time to post all this except to help others in making this decision when the grief & emotion so bad.
