I am a home grown Rochesterian. I was born in Clyde, NY, but moved to Penfield with my parents, brother and pup when I was just 2 years old. I graduated from Penfield High School, did a few stints at MCC, and finally graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012 at 26 years old.
Since then I started my business, met and married the love of my life, rescued two beautiful pitbulls, adopted a kitten, bought a home in East Rochester, and birthed the two most precious babies anyone has ever seen.Photography is one of my passions. Like you, there are many things that I care deeply about; my family, my community, humanity and the arts.

Gillian is fantastic!! She has shot two of our family photos (one in 2019 and one in 2021) and I am amazed at the quality pictures she is able to capture! She is very professional, easy to work with, is great with kids, and has a very quick turn around for the final product. I am very happy with her work and look forward to working with her next year :)

I really enjoyed working with Gillian. She has a great personality and is very professional. I set up a session to have some head shots taken by her. Timely turnaround! I loved the different angles she got of me and the variety of images she provided (there were different filters she provided like b&w vs color) and how they were presented in the album. I will be working with her again in the future! Thank you!

Gillian is amazing! I am ridiculously happy with the pictures she took of my family. Gorgeous shot after gorgeous shot, and she got *everyone* looking their best! Wonderful to work with, and she even did research ahead of time to give me exactly what I mentioned I would like.

Gillian was amazing to work with. She kept everyone smiling and she had a great eye for beautiful shots. She was extremely open our imput so we got the pictures we wanted, but she also knew when to step in and help with posing. She also got me finished photos extremely quickly. I couldn't be happier with her professionalism and artistic skill.
