May this message find you and all of our Karate family well. I received an email informing me that 2 other students and myself were selected for the Puente scholarship. I wanted to thank you for supporting me and for the time that you made to tell them about me. I often write about how Karate has positively impacted my life and reflected on everything you have taught us.
I'm beyond grateful, Thank you for everything, Sah Bum Nim. I am so incredibly thankful for our Karate Family. First, you gave my boy confidence in himself. What a gift. Also, I never would have imagined that I would be crushing boards right alongside him. You all have given me the encouragement to focus on my health, both emotionally, and physically.

Services
Our Karate birthday parties are a fantastic interactive and engaging way for your child and up to 20 of their friends to celebrate with the full Karate treatment. All you need to provide is the guests, birthday cake, plates, forks, knives, disposable tablecloth, and any drinks and snacks. We'll do the rest.
Ms Mikita puts so much time and effort and positive energy into this studio that I am amazed every time I bring my sone to class. How they motivate and focus the kids and teach them so many skills while keeping it fun is tiring just to watch. They also offer so many options to parents like Ninja Nights, pickup from Stars Montessori, family classes and adult classes, birthday parties, and day camps for school holidays.

I have never met such selfless staff! Their interest in making their students thrive is their #1 priority . Speaking first hand I can tell you that my daughter benefited TREMENDOUSLY from this studio . They are attentive, caring, patient , all whole being strict to their teaching to make sure your child learns, and most of all RESPECTS the art of Tung-Soo-Do. My husband, myself and my daughter love the staff greatly , love their the studio, and love their drive and passion for the art of tang-soo-do.

I was looking for a good activity to help build confidence for my 3 year old. After his first 30 minute class I saw a difference in his listening skills, his language, and his confidence. A few months in now, and I’m so pleased with the balance they have struck with all of the kids there. All the coaches have incredible patience with the kiddos and adjust to each kiddos need; allowing parents out on the mats to help when needed and stepping in for parents if kiddo is becoming to dependent on them. They mix skills and fun, and instill discipline whenever needed as well. I truly cannot say enough

Absolutely the best karate instruction and lessons that any parent would want for their child!
The instructors are absolutely the best in technical skills, discipline training, and creating a positive fun environment for the kids.
My son attended three years – between ages 4 to 6 - and he loved every minute of it. He would still be attending if we did not move out of the area recently.

I love this studio. We are not just students but are treated like family. Master Carl is inspiring in his coaching and instruction not just in technique but also life lessons. Kyosa Nim Makita is a wonderful strong female role model. She is dynamic, motivating and encouraging. All the staff are supportive and positive. It’s great to come to a place that helps us strengthen body and spirit.

Excellent professional facility
We just signed our son a few months ago for classes and could not be more pleased with the whole experience. The instructors are always very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. If you’re interested in Karate, discipline, and respect give the California Karate Academy a look. You will not be disappointed.

California Karate Academy is a special school focused on developing children and adults into better versions of themselves! My young daughter loves going to karate because the instructors are patient and attentive while holding the students accountable to the school's creed! We highly recommend this studio to anyone who wants their children to gain focus, respect, and strength. We are so fortunate to have found such an amazing group of instructors!

I can not say enough good things about this place! After only 2 months, we have already seen such a huge improvement in our kids behavior, and focus at school and at home! They are very excited to go to class, and all of the respect/values they learn in Karate comes home with them! It has been AMAZING! Everybody says that it takes a village right? Well, this place is a great part of that village!
