I was hanging out with a couple of friends in Back Bay when I found out that one of my earring's back was lost (probably due to pulling on and off my mask as we walked around the stores). I called the earring manufacturer for a replacement and was told that unfortunately, they do not sell parts. I felt down because that was my favorite pair of earrings and without a back I could not wear them safely. I searched for a jewelry repair store nearby and went into Small Pleasures. The lady was very nice. Although she could not find something like the original one, she managed to find something that would

Had great experiences with Small Pleasures. My fiancé purchased my engagement ring here, and we also got my wedding band and a pair of earrings for my mother. All were great experiences. My fiancé loved working with the staff to craft my custom ring, and it turned out beautifully. They also were able to turn around my wedding band sizing quickly in a pinch when we pushed up our wedding due to COVID. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. Happy to recommend SP to others!

Absolutely blown away by the service my partner and I got while there. We saw the shop and spontaneously decided to pop in.
Employees were incredibly kind, and one in particular, whilst most likely fully knowing we weren't going to buy anything (based on our young age and my own disheveled appearance) still nonetheless went through and showed us in person every piece we found interesting, and more, with no sense of obligation to buy anything at all. It felt like the three of us were just sharing our mutual appreciation for some of the uniquely and subtly characteristic pieces they had, rather

I took my gold chain for a repair. It has broken 3 times in the same spot where they have done the repair. Consider this if you need a piece of jewelry repaired. They don't even stand behind their craftsmanship...told me not to come back if it breaks again becuase they won't be able to fix it. Please don't waste your money.

Incredibly kind and sweet staff. We were visiting Boston and did not have a big budget in mind. Jared showed us ring after ring without ever making us feel unwelcomed. He made the whole experience incredibly fun. We ended up getting something custom made within our budget. Then covid hit and shut down most businesses. Jared and Shelley both kept in touch and kept me updated. I got my ring as soon as their business was up and running. It is absolutely stunning and worth the wait. I am definitely going to be a royal customer.

Overpriced, and the repair job didn't last very long. They don't know how to deal with clip-on earrings, which are rare-ish but are not rocket science either. I've never paid so much to have the clips on clip-on earrings fixed. AND it took long, and longer than the store promised. (I had left three pairs to be repaired or tightened.) A friend recommended this place, and she said she had good service, but I doubt I'll ever go back there again. I have a little more time to search and I am going to see if any of the places in the Jewelers Exchange Building can help. Very disappointing

So after many years of enjoying my beautiful ring, it needed a minor repair, and so I contacted Kelly @ Small Pleasures for advice on best next steps. She is the ultimate professional, knowledgeable, and really cares. Kelly arranged for my ring to be repaired and when it came back not up to her standards, she immediately contacted me informing me it would be a little longer and sent it back out to be fixed to her standards! I can honestly say I've never had a better retail experience from beginning to end- I can't thank Kelly & Small Pleasures enough.

They did a great job fixing a pair of earrings of mine and walking me through the options for repair. Fast and well-done service. But the reason I write this review is that their customer service was attentive, kind, and responsive. Really appreciate all their help and glad to have a jewelry store in the neighborhood that's dependable for repairs and kindness!

Grateful to the gentleman who helped us pick out an engagement ring. He was knowledgable and cheerful, a welcome counterpart to my ignorance and nerves, and the ring is a stunner. It needed to be sized down and while I was ready to wait a couple weeks, the ring was ready mere days later. (Bought it Wednesday at closing time, ready the following Monday.) Such a good experience, I think we'll stop by and check out the wedding band selection.

The man and the woman at this small shop were gracious, intelligent, and very kind, considering that I was asking them for information about objects that were insignificant in value compared to what they usually must deal with. They provided me with lots of information--here's how we determine the quality of the gold, here's what we do with these stones to check for X or Y--and they EVEN gave me suggestions for words and phrases to use when I listed some of the items on eBay.
These kind and witty people gained nothing by helping me. They bought nothing and sold nothing. But the

This store is the treasure of Newbury Street and I love the old fashioned (and amazing) customer service that I receive when I walk through the door each and every time. Whether you are looking for a piece of jewelry to add to your collection, need a repair, or would like to sell a piece, I'd highly recommend going to Small Pleasures before going anywhere else. I can't imagine anything but a positive experience here:)

This is a month overdue but I'm still as excited to have found this place :)
I've been here both for jewelry repair and the watch shop in the back of the store, both are excellent.
Super convenient a block away from Copley train station, the staff is very friendly, zero wait, fixed my costume necklace on the spot FOR FREE bc it didn't need to be shipped out. This will be my neighborhood go to as long as I live in boston. Also had a great selection of beautiful vintage jewelry and watches on display A++

Tiny, easy to miss but lovely shop on Newbury selling gorgeous antique jewelry.
If there are more than 3 or 4 people in here things get tight but it's well worth stopping in if you're like me and go gaga over estate pieces.
You'll find luscious rings, brooches, necklaces and the like harking back to a variety of glorious eras.
My engagement ring belonged to my husband's great-grandmother. I learned more about it here finding out that it's what's called an Old Mine cut diamond favored in 18th and early 19th century Georgian and Victorian styled rings.

Wow! I could not have been more pleased with the quality of service I received here.
I inherited an old diamond engagement ring and matching wedding band and took them here to have them cleaned, sized, soldered etc. The set looked like a completely different pair of rings when I got them back. They were even able to remove stains from harsh chemical cleaners (the last person to wear the rings worked in a hospital) that I had been informed were not going to come out. I ended up paying $90 for everything which doesn't seem cheap, but I doubt I would have paid less elsewhere and the quality
