I'm the girl behind the lens at Elizabeth Hite Photography and a natural light portrait photographer based in Portland, Oregon. I help busy families press the pause button on this beautiful and messy thing we call life; to document joy, connection, and laughter in everyday moments and milestones. I have a background in early childhood education and social work, so I love working with families and children!
The first few weeks with your newborn baby are challenging and oh so AMAZING all at once with endless snuggles, sleepless nights, doctor appointments, and dirty diapers. My job as your newborn photographer is to give you the most relaxed and easy newborn session experience in the comfort of your home while photographing loving and natural newborn moments for you to cherish forever.
From baby bumps to yearly milestones, you are going to want to remember these times as you travel through the wild and beautiful adventure of parenting. As your family photographer, my job is to give you a relaxed and stress-free portrait session experience while providing you with beautiful images to cherish for years to come.
We LOVE mini sessions here at Elizabeth Hite Photography! Mini sessions are short, sweet, and fun for the whole family! They are a great way to capture little milestones as your babies grow, or get the PERFECT candid shot for your holiday card! Mini session events are offered seasonally by email invite-only.
1. Moms, pick your outfit out first! Pick something you feel comfortable and beautiful in! Then coordinate everyone else's outfits around yours! Keep your makeup natural with a bit of color on your lips, eyes, and cheeks! I love long dresses and skirts for mothers and daughters because they can create movement in a photograph, such as blowing in the wind or twirling around!

Elizabeth is truly a talented photographer.
Our Christmas Tree Farm photos came out STUNNING. I am still in awe of how she was able to capture beautiful moments for our family in a short time frame.

We booked Elizabeth for an extended family photo shoot. I thought it would be chaotic. But with Elizabeth it was the opposite! She is such an easy going, calm person. Elizabeth was so so awesome to work with - she was so easy and quick to communicate with via email and was very flexible and accommodating to work with since we have a little one. Picture day was stress-free and fun - always impressive for a family photoshoot! And our pictures turned out AMAZING! The light and colors in the photos were so beautiful and Elizabeth was able to capture beautiful moments of our family (even with a little one on the move). We loved working with her and the photos were beautiful- highly recommend!
