We've been making lifestyle photos and posed portraits for 30 years in Montana. We're married with a family of our own and so understand the tremendous importance of quality family photos.

Our family was in Big Sky to celebrate our 50th anniversary and they made a potentially exasperating situation into a fun and pleasant experience. They had a real eye for picking complimentary backgrounds for the various group pictures and they also captured some cute and candid ones.

I want to scream from the mountain tops how wonderful the process has been from start to finish with Doug and Stana. We travel from Michigan once a year to Montana. My daughter is a senior this year and we decided to find a photographer in MT for her senior pics. I looked through Google to find a local photographer. Looking at their reviews and scanning through their work, I decided to reach out and inquire more. Stana called me to discuss in more detail. My daughter looked through dozens of photographer’s websites to find someone for her senior pictures and nothing grabbed her. Until she came to Loneman Photography. We were both drawn in by Doug’s photos, not just for the beautiful images but how he captured the life and energy of each person. And Stana was so helpful in the time leading up to picture day. We used the wonderful Loneman couple when we visited BIg Sky in July. Our family of 4 wanted cherished family photos with the beautiful landscape of Montana. They knew the area well and met us at a location (they were willing and accommodating !)...we have teenage sons and they had a blast - which says alot about the photographers! I would without a doubt use them again! Their personalities are stellar!

We had an incredible experience with Doug and Stana, from the first contact through the (amazing!) finished product. Stana is organized, personable, and professional and always responded quickly to any questions or changing circumstances. On the day of the shoot, they arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently, and made it all so enjoyable! Best of all, the photos we got are all so beautiful—a mix of posed and casual shots that perfectly capture everyone in our family. They are worth every (modestly priced) dollar, and the experience and results were unforgettable!

I can’t imagine a world without my family and friends. I can’t imagine a home without Doug’s photographs here and there reminding me of all that is good in my life. With a quick click of the shutter Doug finds the true self of a person, and do I dare say the best self of us all. Loneman Photography does absolutely beautiful work. I have used them for both commercial and personal photography and the result has been works of art. Doug was even able to photograph my notoriously shy cat, Tigger. Doug and Stana are a pleasure to work with. Doug is probably the best professional photographer in the Valley.

I really can't say enough good things about Doug and Stana. I was referred to Loneman photography from a trusted friend and have, in turn, referred several friends. I always get "the" picture when I book a shoot with Doug. He always tries to capture the personality of the person and the story behind it all. The picture I have of my daughter in her baptismal gown is my favorite picture of her. Thanks Doug!

Hadn't had a professional business picture taken for awhile & was referred to loneman photography by dan rust in bozeman. doug loneman did a very good job. he took many pictures with different colors, sitting positions, attire changes, looks, lighting. he & his team were very accomodating, honest and produced a product i am very pleased with.
