Services
The Webb family has been a part of Shelby County for over 100 years, and continues to be a pillar of the community. The company began with horses, mules and wagons. The first truck was purchased in 1922. Webb Transfer Line today is the holder of two certificates, Common Carrier, General Commodities, Louisville-Shelbyville and Common Carrier Irregular Route.
Today, funeral arrangements are as individual as the persons for whom and by whom they are made. A ceremony may be individualized to reflect a specific interest or hobby of the deceased. It may highlight one's occupation or ethnic background and therefore, hold special meaning for those present. The funeral ceremony is not unlike other ceremonies that distinguish our lives.
Staff members of Webb Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Ross Webb is a licensed funeral director and embalmer.
We are located in the historic district at 1144 West Main Street in Shelbyville, KY. Our funeral home is a totally handicapped accessible building for all facilities and services. We feature a large off-street and well-lit parking area for your convenience and safety. Our expanded facilities offer spacious chapels with flexible seating arrangements, depending upon your needs.
The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation.
Additional info: This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff; embalming; cosmetology, dressing and casketing; viewing/visitation for one day and/or evening and prior to the service on the next day (at the funeral home or another location); funeral ceremony (at the funeral home or another location); casket coach; limousine; lead car; flower car/utility vehicle; transfer of remains to the funeral home (beyond 50 miles, add $2.50 per mile, mileage is based on a one-way destination); acknowledgment cards; visitors register; memorial folders; crucifix (if applicable); family bible; American flag; cemetery marker (small) and prayer cards (100), if applicable.

Thank you so much Ross Webb and Staff. I felt like i was at home. First Mike looked just like himself. Secondly my family and I were treated with the utmost Respect and treated like we were at home. You made it feel O.K. I WAS SO COMFORTABLE! OUR grandbabies were welcomed and treated with the utmost respect.
