Since 1985, Scooby's of Bensenville has been serving up the area's best Chicago-style hot dogs that "snap" with every bite, Italian Beef dripping with meat juice on french bread topped with Chicago-style giardinera or sauteed sweet peppers. Our "everyday" special is 2 dogs with fresh cut fries for only $7.45 and we'll dress 'em any way you like! (Best deal in town!) Don't forget FREE refills on all Pepsi soft drinks during your visit of our classic style hot dog joint reminiscent of the 1950's.
We'll deliver your order at the right time and right temperature, and help you set up, if needed. I've lived in the area over thirty years and this place definitely must have changed owners again, it has a number of times throughout the years. I went in last Saturday I asked for the usual two hot dogs fries well-done everything on it. A gentleman told another fella to put the fries that were already cooked back in the oil in Spanish. Everybody speak Spanish now! I've worked in the restaurant industry before and everybody knows when a fry is already cooked and they put it back in the oil what happened to it it was awful and because of this I don't think I'm ever going back to Scooby's! Amazing food!! Huge I mean HUGE portion sizes! The best polish sausage I’ve had in years! I ate it in the Parking lot and felt compelled to enter back into the establishment and let them know how good it was! I rarely ever do that but man I’m still dreaming about that food! I would highly recommend it! I would highly recommend it high!

Absolutely amazing. It’s a mile from my hotel by the airport and this was a gem of a find. Warm inviting atmosphere. Very small place but the food is cooked to order. Tons of fries and friendly staff. Can not wait to return from Seattle to eat here again. My fiancé and two friends were ecstatic about my find.
