Mama Maria's Pizza

I ordered a pizza based on a recommendation of a colleague who deemed it a favorite and it was tasty but didn't quite meet the hype IMHO. The location is takeout only and prices are on par with other pizzerias in the area but, the taste didn't leave me with a - oooooohhh I have to go back and get this again and I was less than enthused about eating the leftovers.

As with anything, it could've been "not the best day" so I'll give it another try at some point. Until then, I view it as good, just not a preferred thin crust pizza joint. But I'm not opposed to them

This pizza is outstanding! Usually I'm not a big fan of sausage. Pepperoni is my favorite. But I absolutely LOVED the sausage pizza! Don't get me wrong, the pepperoni is excellent as well. And the employees are super friendly!

My favorite pizza in the burbs! I always order my pizza well done for delivery and it always comes perfect. Its been our family's go to pizza place for year and we will continue on ordering from here.

I’ve found people around here to no have discerning taste when it comes to pizza. Just throw it together, and they’ll love it. I was not impressed at all. Bready crust that was not crisp and chewy… just blah. Ingredients thrown on. Peppers too chunky. Way too much cheese in center of pizza (not evenly distributed). Couldn’t finish it. Told husband to take it to office and let those heavies that eat anything take care of it. Sorry to be rude, but pizza is too easy. You wanna stand out? You need something special. Figure out how CPK makes their crust.

Very good pizza. The ingredients are fresh and they go throughout the pizza instead of just thrown on there. I also liked there baked mostaciolli all the cheesy goodness on top and the ricotta cheese inside. Never had a problem witn the staff that says alot about mama marias.

Waited 32 minutes past pick-up time first time. Then ordered a second time and waited 22 minutes past pick-up time. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice...
Never again.

Their pizza is the best, thin, crispy and well done cheese, nothing better!

Mama Maria's is delicious. They have so many options and they are super fast for takeout. We really enjoyed the Phil's this afternoon in our back yard. Will definitely be coming back!

All you had to do was call me...let me know that my sandwich and appetizer were going to be late. Nah. 90 minutes you took FOR A SANDWICH AND APPETIZER. You could have walked the order across the street. You want to 'piggyback' the pizza order with my order...GREAT. You should have called or at least have your delivery attendant express an apology from management and pick up the order. $25 for a one-star review or a five-star review? We get it, you're a great pizza place, but pick up the phone and do something about it. We'll order from Terry's in the future.

This has been our family's go-to pizza for years. It's consistently good, very cheesy. Haven't tried something I don't like.
Go to meal for us is the special pizza (pan or thin), chefs salad and the jalapeño poppers

OPOk always wonderful pizza! Baked mostaccioli ever! BUT HER IT COMES: AMAZING BEEF SANDWICH. our son who lives out of state always places an order before he gets here for their pizza and a baked mostaccioli! Love this place

We love Mama Maria’s as our usual pizza pick-up/delivery. Their pizza is consistently delicious and they are very timely in their orders. Mama Maria’s also helped us celebrate finding out that our second baby is a girl through a pizza reveal! They were so kind, helpful, and thoughtful through the process and treated us like gold! It made the experience of finding out so fun and solidified us as customers for life. Thanks Mama Maria’s!

Pizza way too soggy.. I ordered a stuffed had barley any cheese or hardly no sauce. The stuffed shells had good flavor but could give more for the price... & the mama maria was ok if it wasn't soggy i do not believe ill return to this place again

It's easily my favorite pizza, I've been going to Mama Maria's for many years now. The owners are good people and they've never served me anything but high quality, delicious pizza. The panzerotti is well worth trying and they do a solid job with their pastas and Italian Beef. Great stuff all around.

Excellent pizza and excellent curbside service!

We had "Phil's Way" pizza. This is a sausage pizza with a thin crispy crust.

Also had the Tiramisu for desert. It was good, but didn't have the coffee flavor we prefer.

Love their Thursday special of pasta with red sauce. Their Mariana and meat sauces are so good! We get it with our pizza every week. Mama Maria's is also so great about having an easy pick up. I hope they never change it even after things go back to normal. It makes it so easy especially if you have kids and don't want to get everyone out of the car.

If I could put a minus I would. Placed an order,was told it would be about an hour. After an hour I called to see how much longer and was told "well we got busy " Not I'm sorry !Well not only am I surprised they were busy,because the way they treat there customers who would go back ! Very disappointing. Way more restaurants to order from. They may want start treating there customers with more respect. SAD !

Got takeout from here. Got a large pizza with 3 veggies for $30. The large is huge! It's cut up into squares so does get messy to eat. But it was fully loaded, the veggies under the cheese. We loved it, would definitely have it again. We ate it over 2 meals bc it was so big (it's supposed to feed 4-6 I think). Recommend!

Babysitting the niece and nephew and they mentioned this was their fave pizza joint in Elmhurst. Ordered delivery - took off one star because the delivery time was over an hour.

Ordered the following:
- chicken wings - nephew loves spicy food and loved them
- garlic bread - it was alright
- pizzas - ordered the classic pizzas and they were really good

We came in as a party of 10 and had the most amazing meal! Bruschetta, lasagna, pappardella, gnocci, caprese salad, pizza, Caesar salad and more! Service was prompt, attentive and the food was authentic! We are fat and happy. The prices were a bargain, proportions big enough for everyone to bring home leftovers. We were in town from Michigan for the Pat Roche and Windy City Feis, picked, Mama Maria's off of a Google list. We're so happy we found this local mom and pop treasure! We'll be back! They do most their business as take away. But have a small dining room that I'm sure will expand!!!! You

Mama Maria's is one of my favorite restaurants. The pizza is fantastic, the entrees are just magnificent, and the ownership from top to bottom is as friendly and kind as ever. It is family owned, and they treat every guest as family.

Awesome pizza and awesome service.
Just picked the closest pizza spot and was definitely not disappointed. By far one of the best pizza's I've had. The ratio of crust to cheese to pepperoni was perfect. The service was also great, the employees were pleasant and on point, they did not hover but approached with impecable timing. The environment was casual, friendly and family oriented. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area to stop by this little gem.

This really surprised me. My friend really wanted bacon on the pizza and I really wanted Italian sausage so we got both. And then we added some eggplant because why not? The 16" ran about $30 after delivery, but I think it was well worth it. The ingredients were all great on its own. Sure, the bacon maybe overpowered everything else and I probably wouldn't get the same toppings next time, but you could still tell everything was fresh and better quality. I loved how the eggplant came in little rectangles. The dough was great as was the sauce. Had I do it over again, I would do
