With over 25 years accounting experience I have worked as a Controller and CFO in many industries and also worked for in public accounting for eight years. In 2008 I went out on my own and started Cascade Accounting & Tax Services providing accounting services for small businesses all around the Puget Sound area.
Monthly Financials - know how your business is doing on a monthly basis with Profit & Loss (your revenue and expenses) and Balance Sheet (your assets, liabilities and equity) statements. Year-end Financials ready once the year is done - since work will be done on your books on a monthly basis at year end your financial statements will be ready for your CPA (or one we refer) to file your return.
I've always thought it important to give back to one's community and have volunteered with numerous animal shelters and charities since I was a teenager. I also have a CD single that has raised thousands for local shelters. For the past two years my sweet Newfoundland dog, Captain Morgan Black, and I have been a Therapy Dogs International therapy dog team.
