Dr. Harris and our dental staff focus on thorough exams of the health of your teeth and gums by performing oral cancer exams and taking X-rays when necessary.
Liv is one of our Expanded Functions Dental Assistants. She graduated from IUSD in 2015 and immediately began working at Riley Children's Hospital where she gained a thorough knowledge of caring for children, as well as adults, with special needs. Liv joined our team at Northpoint Dental Care shortly after marrying her husband, Connor.

A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
The cephalometric X-ray is a unique tool that enables the dentist to capture a complete radiographic image of the side of the face. X-rays in general offer the dentist a way to view the teeth, jawbone, and soft tissues beyond what can be seen with the naked eye. Cephalometric X-rays are extraoral, meaning that no plates or film are inserted inside the mouth.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Harris and his team. I have been going here for years and love it. Recently I had to have a root canal and Dr. Harris made the experience wonderful! I hardly had any pain at all during and after the procedure. I always thought root canals were horrible and very painful. I can't recommend him enough!

I am so lucky to have found such a caring and attentive dentist like Dr. Harris and his team. He found some potential problems and presented me with a treatment plan that would not only take care of an urgent issue but also take care of another potentially major issue. With the low maximums insurance company's have, the potential issues might have to wait. I expressed that with Dr. Harris, but also trusted his judgement if he felt it needed to be done now. Instead he asked me what I WANTED to do, and was more than happy to just take care of the urgent issue and keep an eye on the other.

I am the son of a dentist, and am always evaluating my dentist against my father. Dr. Harris is superb. He is personable, caring, thorough and professional. I have recommended friends and colleagues to him, and ALWAYS get rave reviews from them. While no one likes going to the dentist (or paying for the dentist), Dr. Harris and his staff are great. I am thankful I was referred to him years ago, and continually appreciate him and his staff.
