Tobin's Elite Academy Of Martial Arts T.E.A.M
We work with each student to reach his or her personal martial arts and fitness goals. If competition is your game, then we are the place for you. From sparring to weapons to traditional forms, we have instructors and students who compete and win locally, nationally and internationally. T.E.A.M. students have won hundreds of trophies, including over 200 National Blackbelt League world titles.

Our children's programs start as young as age 3 with the Tiny Tigers Program and continue with the Little Dragons Program for ages 6 to 8. (Our youth/adult programs cover all other ages.) Emphasizing balance, coordination, discipline and self-respect, students at this age will learn basic martial arts skills.
Services
Children are picked up from school and brought to the dojo where they will receive a snack and get help with getting their homework done. We also offer a special class just for our after school kids where they learn to focus better, improve coordination, gain self-discipline, as well as bully prevention techniques (self-defense).
Go beyond cake and ice cream to an ancient art that is a blast for kids, adults and mutant turtles. Thoroughly enjoy being the "cool parent" who gave your child a birthday party different from all of his or her friends. Have fun while watching your child and his or her friends achieve feats of strength and agility within a short period of time.

Want to know how good this place is? The school is in Clearfield and I live in Draper! I drive an entire hour to get there and an entire hour to get home. Why? There really isn't another one of it's kind in Utah. It is obvious from the moment you walk into the place that the kids are taught this art well. Black belts look like what black belts should. This definitely isn't a McDojo! The kids are expected to show respect to instructors, parents, and each other. This shows through and through in the way they are instructed to address each other. And despite this strict regimen it is

I'm not sure if my minion is prepared to defend himself quite yet or has attained the ability to snatch flies out of the air with a set of chopsticks, but he has picked up some skills at Tobin's. When we first signed him up I didn't know what to expect other than him learning to disarm a group of bad guys with a popscicle stick. His Kung Fu would be strong.

So here's what I've learned so far:

1.) It's not Kung-Fu. It's Karate. Don't ask me what kind as I'm not in to the lifestyle enough to know the difference. He wears a karategi, bows on demand,

Our boys have attended at Tobin's Elite for a couple of years, now, and we love it so much. The classes are great, and I highly recommend private lessons. It's well worth the price. If you are interested in pursuing a black belt or just improving your fitness, coordination, and self defense skills, this is the place!
