Dr Pooja is an absolute professional and treated us with empathy the day our first fur-baby got her cancer diagnosis and we had to make the tough choice to put her down (we couldn’t put her down at Ansonia since it ended up being an emergency visit at our local vet hospital) but she was thorough in her examination and prognosis, we have been going to Ansonia since 2009. Initially with our crazy Husky girl Jolie and later on with Hurricane our Bolognese/Poodle mix. I’ve been meaning to write a review for quite some time but they’re reasonably priced and take care of our pets as if they were

We put our dog of 16 years down today. This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done and the empathy, professionalism, and genuine compassionate that the Vet met my family with was unparalleled. Even the staff was genuine and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I never make reviews on google but after the professionalism I was met with today, it was necessary for me to post my experience at the Ansonia Vet Hospital so another family could feel confident trusting them like we did. Thank you guys for helping us put our dog Libby to sleep.
