Chapman Stout bought Medlars in 1996, the store was already legendary in San Antonio for offering unmatched custom jewelry designs. Thanks to his vision and an investment in modern jewelry manufacturing technology, Medlars has become a state-of-the-art facility for custom jewelry design, repair, and restoration.
A standard design is 1hr of CAD and 1hr of 3D wax creation. A 20% deposit is required when you approve your design. You may reduce the cost of your design by selling us your old scrap gold, silver, or platinum. This offer is valid only on designs in gold, platinum, and palladium. A common time frame is 6 weeks to complete a piece of custom jewelry from start to finish.
We guarantee the silver, gold, or platinum purity of our jewelry, our custom design, our repair and restoration work. We further guarantee our stated weight and quality of the stones we supply. When you purchase jewelry from Medlars, you instantly access a lifetime of care. Each one of our wedding rings and engagement rings can be sized to suit your exact specifications.
Undamaged and unaltered jewelry may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund or exchange (not just a store credit). Bullion or precious metals are not returnable but can be sold back to Medlars Jewel Masters at the current live market rate.

Custom jewelry from Medlars Jewel Masters blends Old World craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology to create one-of-a-kind designs that are perfectly executed. At our first custom design consultation, we'll focus on your ideas and goals and draw a rough sketch of your piece. Then, using virtual reality software, we'll convert the sketch to a three-dimensional, full-color image.
