I am a mother of two beautifully rambunctious young boys, Austin and Jasper. I've had an interest in photography since I was only 10 years old, and got my first (toy) camera as a gift from my dad. At the time, I had big dreams of becoming a national geographic photographer. I studied commercial photography in school at Brooks Institute, where I got my Bachelors degree in photography.

Hilary is the most incredible photographer! My family and I recently had her shoot some family photographs and we love how they turned out - her work photography is so beautiful. Hilary captured such sweet moments between us. She is also a total pleasure to work with; Hilary is so friendly and warm and made it so easy for us to get comfortable in front of the camera. I'm looking forward to Hilary capturing even more family moments and I'm so happy we found her!

Absolutely fantastic! We had photos taken of our little family before our son turned one. They turned out amazing! Hilary was super easy to work with and very talented. In our 30 min session we got a variety of high quality, beautiful photos. I cannot recommend Marin Family Photography enough!

Hilary is the absolute best! We are so happy we found her to take newborn photos of our baby girl when we first brought her home. We loved our photos so much we just hired her again recently to take another set of family photos. She is such a joy to work with and knows exactly how to get our baby smiling. She's also great at finding the perfect lighting to get the best shots. The pictures are so beautiful and capture our baby's personality perfectly. We absolutely love how our Maternity photos came out. Hilary did an amazing job, she was such a pleasure to work with, super friendly and helpful! She made me feel comfortable and the pictures look magical. She was able to edit and get the pictures back to me very quickly. We are so happy with how they turned out. Hilary is an amazing photographer! She helped make our family photo shoot a success with her suggestions for locations, clothing, and poses. I feel like our pictures came right out of a magazine! Hilary was professional and friendly and took the time to make little connections with each of us. She knew how to get our dog's attention and had fun ideas for action shots for my daughter. Hilary helped us all feel relaxed and we had so much fun with her. She even suggested taking headshots for my husband, and I'm so thankful she did! I highly recommend Hilary for any of your photography needs.

Dorothy was incredible! We have three young children and she was so patient with all of them, and took amazing photos in spite of the fact that they all seemed to be having a hard day. She was friendly, professional, and gave easy-to-follow guidance. Her pictures are absolutely beautiful. We came out with so many more great shots than we had ever hoped for! We will definitely be hiring her for our future family sessions.

I contacted Dorothy to capture family photos while visiting from out of town. Not only did I like the photos I saw online, but the price of the session and the rights to print the photos freely for my use made booking a session an easy decision. I was curious how it would go with only 30 minutes, but it was more than enough time. Dorothy was amazing working with our six month old son, getting some great smiles from him! We ended up with photos we will treasure forever. We will be contacting Dorothy again the next time we visit.

Dorothy took wonderful socially distanced holiday card photos for our family. She was helpful in picking a location with great scenery and light, was flexible with timing and created beautiful photos for our family. She was super relaxed and even brought toys to help get the baby’s attention. I highly recommend her for anyone in Marin for great photos!

Dorothy took our family photos which are no easy feat with three kids and a husband who does not enjoy family photos! She was very responsive and easy to schedule with. She gave some great ideas as to locations. The one we chose was stunning. The session was very easy and fast - she was great with the kids and kept it moving so that the complaints and whining were kept to a minimum. The photos turned out beautiful even though one of my three kids didn't seem to want to cooperate. She was able to capture a ton of great shots - so many that I will have a hard time choosing.
