I am a member of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers, and specialize in newborn, family, and maternity lifestyle photography. I have always been in love with taking pictures and telling stories. I have a Masters of Arts in Creative Writing, and consider my photography business an extension of my story-telling.
I am a Marin County native and I live in San Rafael with my new husband and my old dog. I am a tired mommy to a rad one-year old little boy. Services
This session package is perfect for family photos, maternity photos, senior photos, or even engagement/couple photos! It is a one hour session at the location of your choice (I am happy to provide suggestions). For optimal lighting, the session takes place in the morning or late afternoon. The session is a balance between lightly posed and lifestyle photographs, and clients describe our sessions together as fun, comfortable, and light-hearted.
I am lucky enough to live in the beautiful Bay Area and cover San Francisco, Marin County, and Sonoma County locations. You will receive your professionally edited photos via digital delivery of a private online gallery. From the gallery, clients can download both a full resolution and condensed resolution images (for social media).
Congratulations on your growing family! The primary focus of a lifestyle newborn session is placed on the candid nature of your relationship with your new baby in the comfort of your own home. There is minimal formal posing or use of props during these sessions. The session includes photos of baby individually, baby+ parents, and any siblings as well.
I am primarily an on-site, natural light photographer, which means that I come to you! Your family may have a location that is a favorite or particularly meaningful to you where you would like your session to occur. I can also suggest locations as well if you want some ideas! However, I believe that the most important part of any family photo is to capture the moments of family interaction more than the background.
If you are here, it means you are expecting and congratulations are in order! Maternity sessions are such a wonderful way to celebrate and capture the beauty of your pregnancy. I love these intimate sessions and find that they are best when shot during the soft sunset hours. There are lots of beautiful outdoor places around us, and I would be happy to offer my recommendations for your session location.
