Lance is head instructor and owner at Paragon of Santa Maria. A Blackbelt under Ricardo "Franjinha" Miller, Lance has both coached and competed at home and abroad, even gaining entry into the 2016 UAEJJF competition in Abu Dhabi - one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world of grappling. Finding Jiu-Jitsu in his late teens, Franjinha immediately started training with his one and only mentor Romero Cavalcanti in Rio de Janeiro.
