We contacted Mr. Collins after a recommendation by some friends who previously used their service when purchasing a home. We have lived in the same house for 15 years, one which we used a cheaper inspector for prior to purchase, and have always regretted it because not long after we moved in we started having issues. We knew we wanted someone thorough, honest, and that would show us the issues and help us understand. My husband and I are in the process of buying our first home and had Collins Home Inspection come out to look at the house we had finally decided to move forward with. Turns out the house has quite a few issues that we would not have found out about if it were not for Everett and Charolette. It was recommended that we have licensed contractors come out and take a look at some specific issues. We appreciated the time, attention, and detail that Everett gave to the inspection of our home. We are so thankful we used Collins Home Inspection. They saved us from buying a home with significant issues. The inspection report stated that we ought to have a few things checked out by professionals in the areas indicated. I am so glad we followed through on his recommendations. Mr. and Mrs. Collins are a dynamic duo! They were very professional from the initial phone call with Mrs. Charlotte, thru the inspection and after completion. Mr. Collins is very knowledgeable, honest and thorough. He took his time and answered every questions and concern we had. Everything he told us in person was reflected in his report along with pictures and arrows pointing directly to the problem area. Collins Home Inspections saved us from buying a home with significant hidden issues. I contacted them to inspect a home that we were looking to buy. They did a great job and were very polite and professional throughout the process. We needed our home inspection done promptly and Mr. Collins was able to schedule us the next day. We bought our home in 2016 and the inspection was completed by Collins Home Inspection Inc. Mr. Collins was very professional, extremely thorough and priced within our budget. He provided us with a detailed list of all current and potential problems faced with buying this home. He let us know exactly what we should expect and we have had absolutely zero surprises. If I could give this company negative stars I would. My husband and I were first time home buyers and our realtor recommended Collins Home Inspection. Long story short Everett Collins missed major structural issues with our house. We bought what we were told was a structurally sound home only to have to spend $15,000 just to fix the things this company missed. They have done absolutely nothing to make this right. Even after admitting to missing these major issues and saying he would “make it right”. Please don’t don’t let this happen to you, use Ned!

We hired Everett and his team because we had had opportunity to review one of their written inspections on a home that we had interest in, but in the end, did not purchase. Their report was amazingly thorough so we opted to hire them to complete our inspection on the house we did decide to purchase. We contacted them on a Saturday and they got back with us first thing Monday. Our inspection was complete to include a very thorough written report by the end of the week. Everett and his team were terrific: thorough, professional and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend their services if you need
