Oliver has been seeing my mom since 1998 when she had her stroke. From the very beginning to present day, Oliver has not wavered in his dedication and compassion working with my mom. I am a registered nurse and I am trained in Western medicine. However, from my experience, Western medicine is limited in terms of its ability to treat musculo-skeletal injuries.
Dear Oliver, I have been composing this letter to you in my head for the past several weeks now and, finally, I believe that I'm at the point where I can come up with words to describe the seemingly indescribable experience that you have given me. Participating in your tai chi class on Saturday mornings has been a highlight of my week ever since I discovered the class several months ago.

I have been coming to Mengong Clinic for a year now. I had a bad shoulder and other autoimmune dysfunctions. I have gone to other acupuncturist but couldn't help me.
When I first met Oliver and Jen, they were clear about how they could help me and the timeline. I appreciate their honesty, integrity, and mostly their willingness to help me. My shoulder is not "cured, " but it is in a much better place. I can move my arm and it does bother me. As for the autoimmune, my body feels incredible, and the blood work proofs how well I am doing.
I highly recommend Oliver & Jen.

I met Oliver seeking help for headaches, he said he could help and after a few sessions there were no results he insisted the results will come later on. He wasted my time and money on inefficient "treatment". Furthermore, he tried selling me other services, such as his wife doing reiki, etc. when I did not want any BS services anymore. He did not care that he was wasting my time and money. He is pushy and unprofessional. He couldn't even admit his acupuncture didn't help.

If there were 10 stars, I'd give them to Oliver Chu at Menhong Clinic! I've been seeing him for more than 10 years *gasp* for everything from lower back pain to shoulder joint pain, from poor sleep to knee joint tightness. Not only does are his treatments effective, but he aligns the localized pain to related emotions that might be causing us pain (ie. Having problems in your liver area? The liver is related to anger and resentment.) I absolutely love this method because it allows me to be reflective, check myself and my current experiences, and do my part in healing myself! Everyone

Wisdom and Guidance is what you get when you meet with Dr. Oliver Chu for acupuncture. His approach to holistic medicine is caring for the whole being, the whole person in front of him. He understands that the needles are only a part of the healing journey. This is his true medicine. On a practical note, Dr. Chu has a flexible schedule for folks on the move, and he's never in a rush. It seems like I'm his only patient because he is fully present for me during our sessions. The Menhong Clinic is an oasis in the city: all of the noise of the outside world stays out for a serene experience

Dr. Oliver. What can I say about him? I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me. I came to him after I finished seeing my chiropractor for a month to seek for other alternative medicine to heal my back. Chiropractor helped but it is good to combine it with acupuncture.
My father is a believer in acupuncture and this is not my first time trying acupuncture. I had several acupuncture treatments in 2004 at Indonesia. So I know what to expect from acupuncture.

I came to Dr. Oliver with some serious shoulder pain. Before visiting him I had tried massage and chiropractic services, however neither of those methods worked. I had some doubts about acupuncture because of a past experience at a community acupuncture clinic, however I was running out of options so I tried Dr. Oliver.
I am so glad I did. That man holds some kind of magic in those needles and hands! After a couple of sessions I felt brand new. He really takes a holistic view when treating you, finds out what the root problem is. Another thing I really appreciate about Dr. Oliver is he teaches

Dr. Oliver Chu is a highly skilled healer. His approach to healing is very profound, with his gentle approach and soft touch, the positive effects were almost immediate. I had a nagging back pain that would not go away, after a 10 minute treatment, I felt a surge of energy and within an hour all aches were gone and never reoccurred. Dr. Chu diagnosed that it was Yin deficiency and recommended more rest. For these reasons,I highly recommend Dr. Chu!

Despite a mild fear of needles, I went to the Menhong Clinic to see if I could get relief for some chronic lower back pain. (I had gotten so tight it hurt to bend over to put on my shoes - and I'm not old!) I did get immediate relief and now I go back about once a month. I've been seeing Oliver for nearly a year and I have still never seen a needle. :-) The other amazing part (besides the fact that the treatments really work) is that it absolutely doesn't hurt. I don't know how Oliver does it but it's pain-free treatment to relieve pain. NICE. Oh, and it's deeply

I began seeing Oliver shortly before I took the Bar exam. I was nervous, stressed and losing sleep. A month before I took the test, I got hit by a car on my bicycle. Oliver was compassionate, caring and patient with me as I talked his ear off about my frayed nerves.
He worked with me to ease my stress and pain. (It's hard to take Vicodin and study for the California Bar Exam

I have been going to Oliver for acupuncture for nearly 10 years. He has helped me out many times with neck aches, back pain, and other aches and pains. I first saw him when I had tendinitis in my shoulder and had been told I needed surgery - Oliver was able to cure me of all the pain in 3 visits! He's very knowledgeable and easy-going and can answer any questions you have about your treatment. I've sent a bunch of friends and acquaintances to him over the years and they all keep going back.

I can't recommend Dr Chu enough. I was suffering from tennis elbow due to my work. I had been using physical therapy & tried steroid patches without any success. Dr Chu was recommended to me by two clients whose migraines he had successfully treated. After one treatment I felt relief. Over a period of five weeks, one treatment a week, Dr Chu was able to eliminate the pain. He's a complete godsend. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't use my use my arms.
