Neah Kah Nie Bistro

This has been our go to place for years when in Manzanita. I reserved a table for our 40th wedding anniversary dinner. I received numerous texts to confirm plus I had to give our credit card to hold the reservation. Since it's a small restaurant I understand. We arrived 5 minutes prior to our reservation. It was closed. I called and received the answer machine stating they open at 4:30 & require reservations. No note on the door nor response. Very disappointing. Everyone understands unforeseen situations but communication was lacking! Ended up having burgers in a bar

Something was terribly wrong last night. We have been going there for at least 10 years and it is usually exceptional. The owner is a brilliant cook and her son the great front of house. Last night, not only did we go for New Year Eve but also to celebrate by son's engagement. We could not think of a better place. What a disappointment. Started with being rudely directed to our table, waiting over 20 minutes for taking our drinks order. Food took ages and then the quality was not per their usual standard. Service was frantic and unprofessional. Front of house atmosphere was not the same as usual

Close but not quite.

Very limited menu offerings, perhaps due to it being off-season. Shrimp/calamari and fries should not be offered as entrees for the type of establishment they are attempting to be.

Food quality was good, but again not up to what the restaurant purports to be.

Service was just ok - another server would have helped.

We had the most wonderful Dungeness crab risotto here in October, light and creamy. Thanks for a lovely evening!

My wife Ronda and I had an amazing meal tonight. She had the Halibut and Risotto and I had the Rib-eye and mashed. Best meal we've had in a very Long time. Thank you for sharing our 20th anniversary with us. Can't wait to come back again.

Fine dining with a casual, cozy feel. They have managed to create lively, vibrant oasis in the middle of a sleepy coastal town. Outdoor seating is delightful & comfortable even in inclement wintry weather. The chef is fabulous as is the entire staff. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed dinner here on the second night after a prolonged closing. It’s a lovely setting, very intimate. However, our main course arrived and we hadn’t even finished the appetizer. This is not at all what I expect from a fine dining establishment. Like most people, we want to savor the experience, and not rush through like a fast food restaurant. The main dish was cod, somewhat bland and lukewarm. I’m hoping that this is due to reopening and that the meal flow will improve. Our server was delightful.

My husband and I have come here 2 years in a row for the service, the atmosphere and the FOOD!!! Eisha and his mother are both lovely, welcoming and just beautiful people. 😍 This will be a staple every trip to the coast!

Excellent food, charming server, Italian vibe, quality wine list. Whipped feta and roasted garlic appetizer is a must-have! Reservations required - small, intimate, lovely.

Wonderful restaurant. Made a reservation & we're promptly seated. Had the whipped feta & garlic with warm flat bread- so good. & dirty fries-crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Entrees True Cod with risotto-perfectly cooked & the ribeye steak cooked to order. Dessert was the Delicious Too. A great choice.

First, I appreciate quality food, not necessarily quantity. Pleasant setting, food service food, lots of gooey fatty sauces in everything. This is not fine dining but with the unfortunate departure of Blackbird, this was what we found. Likely won't go back.

Love this spot. Lynn & Eisha do a fabulous job with food & drinks. If she has the halibut cheeks w:polenta get those. I don't like polenta but I like Lynn's polenta & if you ask in advance she will do jalepano polenta. Oh and the whipped feta starter.

Always great service and good food. A little different fare than most of Manzanita, with a nice rotating selection of entrees. Salmon, steak and salads are all great here. Nice wine selections,too.

We made a reservation at this venue on open table as we were staying in Arch Cape for a couple of days.
We were initially seated outside at a very low table that no one could get their legs under, so they were nice enough to seat us inside. We were seated in what was the former bar area in front of a window at a nice table for 3.
Our waiter was very pleasant and took our drink orders after explaining the menu. Our drinks arrived, just ok.

We tried to stop and missed their open hours and didn’t have a reservation. We made a reservation and drove back. The handicap entrance is in the back, the staff was very helpful getting us into their chic little house converted into an restaurant. Every course was amazing. The wine list was excellent. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The only minor complaint was the temp was cool because they were serving so many in the outdoor seating area and the door was open most of the time. We got a blanket for our legs and enjoyed the evening.

A severely disappointing dining experience, that failed before we even hit the food. I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for a special birthday dinner with high expectations based on reviews. We adjusted, arrived, checked in and were told our table was not ready and to wait in the parking lot (not in the nicest manner). Another 20 minutes we were seated. We popped in on Friday night not knowing we needed reservations. The host told us we had lucked out as she had a table for two available. Service was excellent, the food was even better. We shared the roasted garlic and feta flatbread to start, I had the true cod which was absolutely melt in your mouth and tiramisu for dessert. So happy we were able to enjoy this spot while in town. Exceptional experience and would absolutely come back again next time I'm in town.

We came for dinner, surprised by great cocktail menu. All very good. Friend met us here unexpectedly, close to close. They were more than willing to serve him food and make home feel welcome. Spectacular spot for food and people watching. Has a week long reservation list but worth the wait. Classy, delicious, upscale. Support small business! The owner is working their tail off to give you fine dining!

Ps it's not on the menu but if you order chicken marsala and add Dungeness crab on top. Omg this is one of the best meals I've ever had and it's naturally gluten free !

I can’t recommend this place enough. We had the filet mignon with crab and the cod and they were in the top meals we have ever had. The presentation, the flavor and how it was prepared, and top it off with incredible desserts. By far a must visit. Reservations required and they are usually booked out several days. Plan ahead for the best dinner of your visit!

Found on Yelp and booked our reservation on Open Table. I was remiss in planning ahead and had not thought about making Valentine dinner reservations for my bride until Saturday morning February 13. Had such an incredible dinner at the bistro. The food was fantastic. Everything we had was subpert. They did a great job making the environment romantic and warm and pulling their inside outside full of comfy seating, lights, firepits, and heaters. Eisha, Lynn, and Deb were so personable and remarkable customer service and made the night! We came for an early Valentines Day from Seattle. Couldn't tell you the last time we had such top notch food, drinks, customer service, and romantic dinner. Beautiful place

Great outdoor dining setup during COVID. Really intimate and cozy. Service was amazing -- they were so accommodating to my food sensitivity and had great cocktails. The cod entree with risotto was delicious!

I just finished a $148 meal. I'm still hungry but have decided this is the last $148 this place will get from me. Utter disdain for the customers from staff. So much so that I doubt they even care about this review.

We came for dinner and enjoyed our dinner. The server was very friendly and attentive. We both ordered the steak which were cooked to order as we had requested. The mashed potatoes we're delicious. We enjoyed our appetizer but it wasn't mind blowing or anything. However, the cheesecake was amazing! Cute and romantic atmosphere as well. We really enjoyed ourselves.
