At hairetcetera, we believe in supporting the community. For over 40 years, we have been the beneficiaries of support from our guests and, in return, we pride ourselves on paying-it-forward by supporting those in need. Not only do we support local organizations, but we also carry products that support nonprofits at the national level too.
Founded by Connie Podeszwa in 1977, hairetcetera was born out of a spirit of caring for others. Having started doing hair in 1957, Connie is a strong and driven woman whose clients still come into the salon regularly. Her daughter, Eva Garza, now owns and operates the salon carrying on the same legacy as her mother.
Since 1991, the Bioelements skin care line has delivered results-oriented, esthetic excellence. And it didn't just happen by chance.

I treated myself to my very first manicure with Tara and I loved it! The business as a whole was respecting COVID restrictions and requirements, so I felt very safe. Everyone there was very friendly and my time with Tara was nothing but completely enjoyable. She did a wonderful job and made me feel very pampered! I love my nails and can't wait to go back and let Tara pamper me again!!

When I made my appointment I was very clear on the phone that I needed a stylist that was able to handle long and very very thick hair on a plus size woman with a double chin because I was doing a dramatic transformation - long and thick to a funky pixie cut, which is something I have done before. I was paired with Danica and was assured that despite her being a level one stylist she could handle it.
I brought in pictures of what I wanted and I fully discussed that I did not want anything posh or polished - I like funky and edgy and low maintenance. What I ended up getting was a two hour long

When I first moved here in 2019, I was searching for a hair salon and Hairetcetera just stood out to me. I made an appointment and got paired with Jennifer (who is sadly no longer there). She listened to me, gave me advice and always had me feeling amazing when I left. Today I had a cut with Danica and she did the same exact thing - listened, gave advice and I walked out feeling amazing! The atmosphere and the employees of Hairetcetera are topnotch and I recommend them 110%!
