Dr. Andrew T. Kunkel is a Board Certified Doctor of Naprapathy, having graduated from the Chicago College of Naprapathic Medicine in 2000. After earning his Doctorate of Naprapathy, Dr. Kunkel continued his studies to become a licensed Acupuncturist. He received his degree following a rigorous three years of coursework and a two year internship.
A Doctor of Naprapathy (D.N.) will focus on the evaluation and manipulative therapeutic treatment of connective tissue disorders, utilizing soft tissue manipulation, nutritional counseling and therapeutic modalities. Naprapathy is a branch of natural medicine that was founded in the early 1900s by Dr. Oakley Smith.

Dr. Kunkel is as professional and honest as they come. He treats your ailments as needed and does not try to sell you more or put you on a multi month schedule. He recommends as needed and nothing more. I had been to multiple chiropractors and his treatments were night and day better than any of them. Very few times in life do you find immediate results in such a short period of time and his treatments are one of them. I would recommend his services to anyone.

Dr Kunkel takes his time with me, patient and attentive to all my questions, You can just see the wheels turning in his head as he puts all the information together to get and give the right treatments! He always teaches me about the different parts of the anatomy and how the treatments will help rebalance my body. He recently helped me recover from sciatica, which was very painful. I am know almost pain free!!

After years of dealing with repeated trips to Chiropractors (various) for low back nerve issues, I was introduced to Dr. Kunkel. He is a great listener, problem solver and foremost, a believer in helping patients help themselves. I still run into problems where I have to have Doc get me back in order but those visits are spaced in years as opposed to months through previous care givers/methodologies.

I had a great experience at Dr. Kunkel's!. I had two failed back surgeries, and was struggling to continue to work with severe nerve pain in my back and legs. After a couple weeks of treatments I felt much better, and had a vastly increased quality of life. I would recommend Dr. Kunkel to anyone who suffers from low back pain!
