At Integrated Home Healthcare Services, Corp., we work with you, your family and your doctor to ensure that you get the care you need in the place where you are happiest - your own home. We are a company founded by nurses, and the care we give is grounded in nursing philosophy and values. Home Health Aides are caring individuals who help patients to carry out their activities of daily living.
The hygiene (bathing) service wasn't mentioned in this survey, but it was excellent with the hygiene. The caretaker showed great concern, compassion and competence. The PA that came to the house was great and very compassionate and I needed that at the time. I don't remember her name. I wish every doctor was as compassionate as she was.
And if you meet the conditions above, Medicare pays for your covered home health services for as long as you're eligible and your doctor certifies you need them. If you need more than part-time or "intermittent" skilled nursing care, you aren't eligible for the home health benefit. Homemaker services like shopping, cleaning, and laundry when this is the only care you need, and when these services aren't related to your plan of care.
