Our Doctors of Physical Therapy use our proprietary physical therapy program, the Active Rehabilitation Continuum (ARC) to expedite your recovery.
Choosing a Chiropractor or Physical Therapist in Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley or Los Angeles areas can be a difficult choice. Even though there are a lot of skilled Chiropractors and Physical Therapists in Ventura and Los Angeles County, patients must first choose which of the two professions is best suited for their condition.
Join Our "Manshop", Get Your Risk Score and Learn How to Stop Low Back Pain Before It Gets Worse. Dr. Stephen Clark is a renowned physical therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. He will test 10 key movements that can predict low back injuries and tell you if you're at risk for a worsening low back condition in the near future.
Are you a female athlete in San Fernando or Conejo Valley area that plays a competitive rec, club, travel or school team sport that involves running, jumping, twisting or cutting? Are you afraid that an ACL tear or other knee injury will sideline you and you will lose part or all of your season and eventually maybe even a chance at a college scholarship?
An injury to your MCL will feel very sharp and painful along the inside or medial aspect of your knee. Since the MCL is about 10 cm long your knee can hurt above and below the knee joint. An injury to the MCL ligament will be associated with swelling, stiffness, and pain. There will also be mild to severe difficulty with putting weight down on the foot and or twisting or turning depending on the severity of the tear.

Kevin Leslie and Matt are kind, cheerful, caring and very accomplished. They are true muscle whisperers. I’ve come to them many times with chronic back and neck pain. Each time they assess the circumstance and then do physical exercises to strengthen so the issue resolve. They put you to work so that you can get back to life. I’ve often heard PT sucks. PT with them is great. I trust them and highly recommend you choose them.

If only there were more stars to give! My therapist, Dr. Kevin Nakayama, is a gifted bio-mechanic with magic hands. He is the consummate athlete’s physical therapist and trainer because he is able to diagnose and “manually” treat muscle malfunction and joint alignment issues. His knowledge of flexibility and strengthening regiments is excellent as well. I am very fortunate to have discovered Kevin and his wonderful staff. I highly recommend them.

After my rotator cuff surgery I did physical therapy here and was happy with the results. I worked primarily with Steve and Gloria and they are both knowledgable, friendly, patient and caring.
I began PT a week after surgery. They started me off slowly and would gradually build up the movements, weights and resistance-- nothing was ever rushed or pushed harder than it needed to be, which I appreciated.
Setting up appointments was always easy and I had no issues with billing, they made sure all of that went as smoothly as possible.

I have been to a few PT offices and have to say that this is the best place. The whole team is wonderful in taking care of the patients. Steve Crear is knowledgeable, caring, and skilled in what he does. Gloria's positive energy keeps you going even when in pain. Sydney's calm demeanor and patience make you feel at ease. I'm very happy with the results and highly recommend this place.

My son engaged with Athletic Physical Therapy after a broken ankle potentially impacted his high school baseball participation. The team at APT not only sped up his recovery, but educated him on the physiology of his injury and the plan for therapy. He worked hard and has recovered complete, stronger for the experience and the education. Thank you.
