We had the best experience with Accu-Rate Home Inspections. Norman was professional, kind, and detail-oriented. He was readily available when we needed an inspection on our future home. As first time homebuyers, this process in general is stressful, and the fact that Norman was so thorough and communicative gave us a lot of confidence in the home. He is very flexible and with the technological times - We are purchasing the home out-of-state, so Norman FaceTimed us as he was inspecting. His website is clear and easy to use. Because we were switching insurance carriers, our agent required a wind mitigation inspection and 4 point inspection. I contacted Norman (the owner) who responded immediately and scheduled an appoint for just a few days later. He arrived on time, was extremely thorough and took great care to answer questions and provide helpful suggestions for improvements that when completed, could reduce our annual wind insurance premium. He even went back to his office to retrieve a particular tool to help him get a more accurate picture of a spot deep in our rafters! He was at our home for about an hour and

I used Accu-Rate Home Inspections to inspect a home I was purchasing as a rental property. I had previously had an inspection done for the home I purchased as a residence, and used a guy recommended by my realtor. I paid $350 for a report that was about 5 pages long and useless, in my opinion. So, for the rental property, I found Accu-Rate and hired the owner, Norman Bodewig, to do the inspection. What a difference! The report was comprehensive, full of instructive photographs, including arrows pointing at exactly what was being discussed and very thorough.
