K Engineers, Inc. was initially founded in 1979 as Kenneth Kok, P.E. Electrical Engineer. In 2007, two partners were added and the firm was incorporated. Our firm consists of one office in one location with no subsidiaries or associated firms. One of the big advantages of being a small firm is that it allows our organizational structure to be very informal and efficient.

K Engineers has extensive experience with a wide variety of projects - commercial, industrial, marine, medical, public works, educational, institutional, recreational and residential. Our staff has between 7 and 20 years of experience. We have a former Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) on staff, 3 people who formerly were electricians, and have considerable experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
The firm has earned the trust of long-standing local and regional clients - architectural firms, contractors, small business owners, large corporations, colleges, universities, counties, cities and port authorities. Almost all of our work is repeat business or referrals from previous clients or contractors familiar with the type of work we do.
Our higher education portfolio includes a wide variety of projects, from small remodels and additions, to large new facilities. In collaboration with Schreiber, Starling and Lane Architects, this new 65,000 square foot facilty is a. Completed in 2009 in cooperation with Schreiber, Starling and Lane Architects, the 66,000 square foot.
Medical facilities present unique challenges. We have sucessfully completed a variety of medical projects, including hospitals, ambulatory care facilities and medical clinics. A multiple-tenant facility housing medical offices, exam rooms, MRI suite and an ambulatory surgery facility. This 9,800 square foot building, located in Bellingham, WA, completed in 2017, included an Ambulatory.
