It was my first time there & I came out so happy! I didn't catch the lady's name that did my eyebrows, chin, and lip but she brought my eyebrows back to life! Usually when I get my eyebrows done at other places they just clean it up and that's all but she made my eyebrows look like I drew them in! Will be back! Thank you Shova Beauty Salon!

I am from out of town and was attending a wedding in the area. I looked up salons nearby the hotel and came across this establishment. I called and set up a hair appointment. The young lady was polite while scheduling my appointment. Once the day came and as I entered the salon I felt welcomed. They quickly attended me.

I found the salon through browsing for local salons since I'm new to the area. I booked an appointment with Ramita the night before through Yelp. I got my hair trimmed and eyebrows threaded by two different staff and both did such a great job. Everyone was super nice and friendly. And the female staff who cut my hair was very attentive and communicative with how I wanted my hair to be. She asked for confirmation and suggested my damage ends to be trimmed more but just enough to fit with the back hair length. The other staff was also nice and did a great job on my brows. Just how I would like

I get my eyebrows done here normally and after heavily debating on whether I should change my hair a little or not, I decided to go for it. My previous color had faded quite a lot and I was in need of a desperate trim. I opted for a magenta/purple look and they were able to pull it off, even though we weren't sure if the color would come out over my old color. The staff was extremely professional and patient, even though I have very thick hair and took a lot of their time. I am very happy with my hair and ready to tackle the new decade with a new sense of confidence! :)

Flew from Portland for new year celebration in Bay Area. I had to do my haircut in short time. This was the nearest place I came across. I am really impressed by the ambiance of the salon. I was greeted warmly by the hairstylist named Ramita and she asked for the type of haircut I wanted.
At the end of the service, I found the haircut as perfect as could get. I was glad that I chose this place. Starting new year with fresh look. I highly recommend this place.

I want to speak to the owner. If anyone has any contact information for the owner please contact me. I have been trying to get ahold of her for 1 week and 1 day. This is extremely bothering that no one in the salon has any way to contact her. My poor girlfriend has a bold head and some missing eyebrows but no one wants to help. I have scheduled an appointment to speak with her on her time but when I arrived the people there said they don't know how to get ahold of her. There is something extremely fishy. One girl talks to me and goes back talks to the owner then calls me but no one will let

Called to make an appointment and found out the place changed ownership and my usual stylist wasn't there! Was hesitant to go, but badly needed a haircut. So glad I went!
The new owner cut my hair and did a fabulous job! She is obviously a veteran and knows her trade! Really thankful I still have a place where they understand what to do with my hair!!

It's unfortunate that I have to write this review as the staff is very friendly and do a good job. After going to the Beauty Spot about a dozen times I am going to have to find a new place to get my eyebrows and last minute hair clean up done. This is due to lack of consistent pricing and charging. They aren't even following their advertised pricing. Don't put up the sign outside with a price and then have different pricing sheets inside. You lose the trust of your clients that way. Sad but I don't like to feel cheated, especially since I tip well.

First off, Tony is an AMAZING hairstylist. He prefers to cut hair straightened and dry, and the staff straightened my hair to perfection before he cut my hair (my hair probably hasn't been this straight and sleek since I popped out of the womb, woops). He really listens to what you want done to your hair, and he never once made me second guess my decision to come to Beauty Spot. Tony is so warm and friendly, and he seems to really love what he does! I'm so glad he was the one who cut my hair--it has so much movement and life to it now.
