After our posed shots we let you take the lead and show us what you envisioned for your family portraits through a mix of portraiture and personal styles while we capture your natural moments through candid shots. Clients have commented on how patient we are with kids. We find that children under 5 do best in the mornings and teenagers do better at sunset, especially with the time difference.
Jessica has worked on Maui since 2004 with dedication to make sure her images will showcase your work in a modern day style. We know that you work hard for your clients so they can have the best product and we do the same for you. We brainstorm with you, putting together your ideas and our photographic skills for a high quality product.
Pearl Wedding Photography is an award winning company on Maui that focuses on building personal relationships with our clients. I, Jessica Pearl, started the company in 2008 when I decided to specialize in wedding photography. With more than five years of experience shooting weddings on the islands and a Bachelors degree in Photography from Drexel University, I love using those skills to fit the style each bride and groom is looking for.

Underpromised and overdelivered! My wife and I were in town for our baby moon, and Jessica was very accommodating, easy to work with, very experienced, and incredibly creative with her shoots. Highly recommend, and I would definitely work with Jessica again on all future photoshoots in Maui. We were looking for someone to take our wedding photos for a destination wedding. Let me start by saying I hate taking pictures and so does my husband. We even prewarned Jessica. She was phenomenal!! I cried when I got to see these stunning photos for the first time. Her patience with us, capturing the perfect moments, and elegance on every shot was superb. She was so wonderful to work with, had some great laughs while doing all types of poses, and her sense of humor is the best. Jessica is an amazing photographer. I have a teenage son who hates taking pictures and she put him completely at ease and even made it fun where he and we were all laughing. We had an amazing experience with Jessica Pearl photography! We had a destination wedding on Maui and used Jessica Pearl for both our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. We found Jessica and her team to be very reliable, prompt, and extremely pleasant to work with! They are all very kind and responsive individuals and working with them took a lot of pressure off of our wedding day. Jessica knows the island well and was able to suggest a beach for our engagement photos that was beautiful, not too busy, and had the look and feel we were going for. Jessica and Clarissa did our Save the Date photos shoot as well as our wedding. The way they capture the light is beautiful and catching all the little details that made the day so special. Jessica rescued me from a potentially disastrous situation, a double booked previous photographer! From the second I emailed her, she made me feel completely at ease. We got to Skype almost immediately! She truly is a pro!! She knew EXACTLY what I was after and captured fun, exciting and elegant shots. The slideshow she posted after the wedding, showing over 6 minutes of photos, made me burst into tears of happiness. I cannot express how grateful I am to have had her be such a huge part of my day. Jessica came to us through a referral from Makena Weddings for our 25th wedding anniversary in Maui. Both Makena and Pearl were highly professional. Jessica and her assistant Clarissa made us feel special throughout the extended photography session which included photos at our resort before and after our renewal ceremony. We got married on Maui in August 2013. We had an unusual wedding - married at sunrise at the top of Haleakala - and our wedding coordinator recommended Jessica Pearl. I looked at the fantastic photos on her website and agreed.
She was easy to get in contact with. We had a phone conference for about an hour the month before to nail down exactly what my husband and I wanted, and met with her briefly the day before the ceremony to iron out the details.
