The Villas at Sunny Acres has been such a great place for my Grandmother, Betty Springer. They are fantastic at keeping me updated on how she is doing. My Grandmother absolutely loves the team there taking care of her. Every time she calls me she tells me how much she loves the therapy department and how much she looks forward to her therapy sessions. She loves her nurses and CNA's as they take the time to interact and talk to her. She tells me that the food is good and especially loves her biscuits and gravy breakfasts. She has loved all the activities the activities department have to keep her

I have lived in assisted living (lakeside) for 2 years now. My daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren moved to North Carolina and I chose to stay here against their wishes. I explained to them that this was my home now. They have seen how happy I am here and wanted me to be happy so off they went. The staff are all amazing. The work very hard to help us stay as independent as we wish to be or are capable of being. The food is a great balance of choices. The chef comes into the dining room to see how things are. We have regular meetings of residential council and food service. I recommend living

This place is horribly understaffed and the personnel who do work there obviously don't want to be there. It takes more then an hour after my dad notifies the nurses to get back to him. None of them knew how to take care of my dad or seemed like they wanted to, and even if they did they didnt have the equipmentto do so. And he became so unhealthy he had to go back to the hospital. I don't think this place should be opened.
