Julie Brock Photography began over a decade ago, with one goal in mind - to create amazing photographs of the most life-changing and exciting part of a couple's life - becoming parents and being part of a family. Since then, we've served hundreds of Kentucky and Indiana families just like yours, who are lovers of life and want their biggest and best moments documented.
Your very first photographs as a family are treasures, you should love them, and I take great care with that responsibility. Before booking, I want to find out what's important to you and answer all of your questions with a quick phone call. Then, we will send over a few extra session details you'll need, and if you have any questions, I am personally available by phone or email to take care of them.
Because you want your very first photographs as a family together to move your mama heart. We take care of all of the planning, styling, location finding, and designing amazing things for your home. Shortly after each session, we view your images together online - giving you the freedom to carefully select your favorites.

Julie took care of my maternity and newborn photos. My biggest fear with scheduling both sessions was deciding what to wear. Julie provided a beautiful selection of dresses to choose from and also helped coordinate my husbands wardrobe. We did a fitting for the dresses before my photo session and she sent me links for items that would coordinate with my dress for my husband.
At the time of my maternity shoot I was almost 36 weeks and very physically uncomfortable and was worried my photos would show this. Julie was very patient with me and assured me our session was going well and she was not

I wanted something special to remember the most precious moments of our families lives together. After already having a baby, I knew that getting everyone together and picture ready would be challenging because of everything that comes along postpartum. Julie prepared us for the day long before it came and made everything absolutely easy and relaxing. She had the most calming affect on all of us and she had walked in our shoes. She is not just an amazingly talented photographer, she’s a genuinely wonderful human being.

The experience and products we received from Julie are unparalleled! Julie was fantastic to work with. We started with meeting at her studio so I could try on a few of her wardrobe pieces to see if there was something I would like to borrow for our photo shoot. She helped me pick something that was beautiful and put up with my 11month old crawling around everywhere! Then she sent me multiple ideas for outfits for my husband and daughter to wear. We had the best experience with Julie taking our newborn photos! As a first time mom, I looked to Julie's experience, both as a mom and photographer, to lead me through the process and offer suggestions.
Our photoshoot was calm and relaxed. Her studio is cozy and comfortable. We were not rushed at all, able to take breaks as we needed and she even provided lunch - a wonderfully thoughtful touch for exhausted, new parents. :)

We used Julie for our newborn pictures and the pictures are everything I wanted them to be and more. I loved that I didn’t have to worry about finding something to wear and was able to choose a dress from the dreamiest selection of dresses! I love that she captured our baby in all of his newness and every little detail that I never want to forget- from the swirl in his hairline, and his sweet little eyelashes, to all of his sweet tiny features. The pictures are beautiful and make time stand still when I look at them. She captured moments and the sweetness of a newborn perfectly. We will treasure
