Our funeral homes specialize in not only providing comfort and reassurance during a family's most difficult time, we also honor the legacy of the person. A legacy that helps those left behind to be transformed, inspires them to re-examine their own lives, and ultimately to heal. A legacy that can cause them to wonder.

We have been serving the Jacksonville, Cabot and surrounding communities for over 80 years. We are also the only combination funeral home, crematory and cemetery in the area. We take pride in being a truly family-owned and operated funeral home. Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience. We handle every aspect of the business and assist our families personally every step of the way.
Services
We at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home are committed to serving you with the utmost regard for your family. Our funeral home and cemetery is located about 1 mile just east of the Air Base Exit off of Hwy 167. The address is 1504 North J. P. Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, AR 72076. We are the only locally, family owned and operated funeral home that has been serving Jacksonville and the surrounding area since the early 1950's.
The funeral is a ceremony of proven worth and value for those who mourn. It provides an opportunity for the survivors and others who share in the loss to express their love, respect, grief and appreciation for a life that has been lived. It permits facing openly and realistically the crisis the death presents.
Staff members of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. John began his career working for a funeral home during high school.
We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. With online Arrangements, you can take your time to select the arrangements which are best for your preferences and budget.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.

My grandfather passed away in 2017 and to this day, our experience sticks out to me. Mr. John Harris was the funeral director handling arrangements for my grandpa and because of him, how he treated my family, and the experience as a whole, he inspired me to want to become a funeral director as well. I cannot say thank you enough.

My Mother unexpectedly passed and the original plan was to go to Griffin & Leggett as that is where several of our family have been previously buried.
Unfortunately things had clearly changed since our last family member passed and was buried there. Now they clearly are all about the money. The entire time spent there was a waste of time as the amounts for every little touch were incredibly expensive, the atmosphere was without empathy, and the people involved made you go through their entire presentation regardless of the price range we explained was needed. We decided to go elsewhere and then

I am very unsatisfied with the quality of service! At my long time boyfriends services the slide show repeated multiple photos, the collage border covered my boyfriends face, they refused to fix the issues when i brought it to thier attention. The funeral director was extremely rude to me regarding my complaints... Burying the love of my life after 14 yrs together was devastating and these people made it even worse.

I will never be able to voice how professional and kind they are at Moore’s. I will never be able to say thank you enough for their kindness and understanding. My family have used them for two generations and we will continue to do so.
