If you have literally been sidelined by an injury or have been given healthcare that is less than ideal, Northwest Chiropractic wants to help. Itasca Chiropractor Dr. Thomas Van Anrooy takes an old school approach where the patient comes first. The patient is looked at as a whole, past and present, rather than the condition they come in with.
The patient will properly be evaluated with a comprehensive spinal exam, neurological exam, and orthopedic exam in addition to considering the patient's history. This includes x-rays and MRIs to appropriately determine the patient's diagnosis. Using the methods above, a diagnosis will be determined and a customized treatment plan will be formulated.

Headaches are often triggered by problems in the neck or shoulders. For instance, neck or shoulder muscles can tighten or overstretch. Joints and bones can move out of alignment. And nearby nerves and blood vessels can become irritated. These problems can be caused by injury. They can also result from poor posture or stress from repeated actions such as looking down to read.
Dr. Thomas Van Anrooy has been providing chiropractic care for over 25 years in the western suburbs of Chicago. He ensures every patient understands their condition and the steps needed to be taken to heal chiropractic for back pain. The body is designed to fix itself when there are problems, however when nerve impingement occurs it can affect vital organs and muscles.
