I was very concerned about reviews etc when I was notified that my mom would be going to Redwood Springs so I called to investigate and ended up having several great conversations with everyone from the social worker to admin and some of their assistants. I was notified that there had been a change over in staff and new admin /etc and was informed of the changes they had made and were still making.
Since my mom has been there, everyone has been great with communication and everyone seems to be doing their jobs appropriately. Very forth coming with information and compassionate.

Horrible, my dad has been in this nursing home was admitted to the hospital about 5 times with septic shock because of lack in his care, spoke with his nurse Jolene on 11/26/20 at 1:15 pm who said that he is in his bed, I asked her if he is getting out of bed, she said that she doesn’t have time, when I asked her about his care she said that he is there in his bed and she can’t help, then she start getting offended and was inappropriate , she also said that there no supervisor to speak to and denied me seeing my father from behind the windows. It is simple if you don’t like your work, then

After touring the facility recently for a family
member in the area I was pleasantly surprised with how attentive staff was to all of my questions and concerns regarding my uncle’s needs. Just over 2 weeks later, he’s heading home and we are so thankful for everything provided here. The care was great, and the food was given two thumbs up by my uncle! He didn’t think he would be heading back home so quickly, and for that we want to thank Redwood Springs.

I've been calling to speak with someone in admin but no one is ever available, always in a meeting. I left a voicemail but was not called back. RS allowing my nephew's girlfriend to care for my mother. This is a conflict of interest. She also has violated hippa several times. I guess I will have to let the state handle it to get anything done

Rude & disrespectful staff, the cna’s don’t do their rounds every 2 hours like they’re supposed to, the facility does not have any fall risk protocol, the halls are shared with both men and woman. (And for a large facility, that could have easily been rearranged to men only and woman only halls). I would never in a million years recommend this facility. The nurses don’t pay attention to your family members name. They’re known as “the lady in room __”. Definitely not a place that cares for the residents as their own family.

My mother was sent 3 hours away from home for a surgery and was sent to Redwood Springs afterward for physical therapy. The day she got here she was week and did need assistance but within a week was able to get out of bed, go to the restroom and shower without help. I did my due diligence and had checked with her insurance about what they covered, they said 20 days. To my surprise that is the exact amount of time the facility said she needed to stay with them. Once I saw she was moving on her own I asked if she could leave. She doesn't live alone and would have had 24 care. They said no. I later

Very disappointed in this this facility. Unfortunately I've had several loved ones in local healthcare facilities, but this one is extremely disappointing. Having loved ones in a end of life situation or in need of continual care, you don't want to deal with them being cold, not getting the correct died, not receiving rehab, and not even being responded to. We've tried talking to Lena, but she isn't willing to offer us the service that an elderly patient needs to progress, or even maintain.
