I have been photographing professional surfers since 1999 here in San Diego. My surfing photography has appeared in editorials and advertising for surfing brands or major publications such as Surfer, Surfing Magazine, Surfers Journal, Transworld Surf, and Eastern Surf. Once again, John Cocozza Photography captured absolutely beautiful photos. John never ceases to amaze us and the multiple times we have worked with him have been amazing. He just photographed our wedding in Mexico on 5/12/18 and we could not be more pleased with the moments he captured. John is always so easy to work with, he is very professional, kind, and his work is outstanding. John also had a second photographer with him, Irina, and she was amazing as well. I contacted John to help me out with some professional headshots for my work. I sent him an email with what was required for my headshots from my employer. He quickly understood exactly what needed to be done and the headshots turned out perfect.

John and his assistant came into our office for professional headshots for our whole group and did a great job. John made me feel very comfortable (and I don't like my picture taken much) he made me laugh and re-live old memories to get me to smile big and not give a fake smile. If I ever need any photography work done John will definitely be my first choice.

He is such a talented photographer and it is very easy to work with him. On our wedding day John arrived with a second photographer, to ensure that we have plenty of pictures. He did an excellent job capturing our memories from the biggest day of our lives.
He took pictures during ceremony, reception and we had a photo shoot immediately after the ceremony. John gave us a CD with all the pictures very quickly after the wedding, AND he was sending me several preview emails with first pictures that were ready during the time after wedding

I spoke with some other photographers before deciding to go with John.
All the other photographers I spoke with gave off a bad vibe and said something along the lines of "Come to my address, be on time, we will shoot the photos you want, and then e-mail them to you a few days later.".

I am glad I chose John. After we finished shooting the photos, he immediately put the photos into his computer. We decided which photos looked best. He then began touching up the photos and

As an apparel company - I often need photographers to do work for me as far as modeling shoots, product shoots etc go. Even though my company has worked with most of the major photographers in the San Diego area (and a few out of state) I have to say that John Cocozza is one the best I have ever worked with.
His photos are of extreme quality - as is his work. One thing I am sick of with most photographers is their "strike a pose and take a pic' mentality. They don't put into account the environment, the background, the theme, etc and this makes for a very boring, mundane picture

John is a true professional. I have worked with him on numerous occasions and have always found him to be very diligent talented and friendly. John has done two modeling shoot from my boat and has even filmed a movie from it. I have had personal photography done by John as well as website development. He is extremely knowledgable and fair with his pricing. I recommend him every chance I get.
