The Koskey family has been serving Negaunee and the surrounding communities since the 1920s. We are the only single-family owned funeral home since inception in Marquette County. Since our founding in 1928 until today, our driving thought and direction is serving the needs of families living in our area with honesty, compassion and dignity. Through four generations of trained and dedicated personnel, we continue to perpetuate the ideals on which we were founded.

We know there are other funeral homes in the area to choose from. But we also know that families who turn to us during a time of loss, or for pre-arrangement services experience our very high standards of service. Providing comfortable, soothing surroundings where families and friends can gather to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one.
With the growing number of families choosing cremation, manufacturers have responded by developing an extensive number of offerings. Every year, new styles of cremation urns become available. We provide a number of these cremation urns in popular styles fabricated in wood, marble, ceramic, bronze and other new materials.
If you were present during the final moments in a loved one's life, then you've been fortunate. We believe that while nothing prepares you for being present at the death of a loved one, bearing witness to the death of a loved one can bring new insights into your own capacity for selfless love and caring, help you to renew or intensify bonds with other family members, find a new respect for siblings, or help in the healing of old emotional wounds.
When someone we love dies, we miss them terribly. There is a hole in our heart which it seems nothing can fill. Except our memories. They can reside in your heart, giving comfort and easing sorrow. They are a true gift to us in the dark days after a loss. Even years later, our memories enrich our lives, and in the words of the writer, Anne Rice, No matter how long we exist, we have our memories.
