God has blessed our church with a wonderful facility to educate people in God's love and grace. For years we used it nearly every night of the week but nothing was happening during the day. As we were praying for direction in meeting some of the needs in our community one need that was brought up was childcare.
There are many new families in our city and many more moving into our city. They would need quality childcare. We began looking at who God had placed in our church in the education field. We noticed we had two preschool directors and several who have worked in preschools. Looking at who God has placed in your church can be part of knowing God's will.

My name is Carmen Baugh. I am originally from Arkansas. Go Razorbacks! I am married, with three children. My husband, Russ, works at Bayer Pharmaceuticals in Berkeley. My daughter Courtney is in a doctorate program at UC Riverside for Child Development/Psychology. My son James is in a graduate assistance program at Western Kentucky for Debate Studies.
Sequoia Heights Baptist Church opened Sequoia Christian Preschool in order to better serve the families in our community. God has blessed us with fantastic teachers who are excited to invest in the lives of these children. We are looking forward to all that God has in store for Sequoia Christian Preschool!
