Welcome to The Campus Downtown Preschool and Child Care Center. Our 14,000 square foot state of the art facility is located in the heart of downtown Stockton. Here at The Campus our focus is on early childhood development with a half day curriculum based program for ages 18 months to 6 years old. We also offer an extended care program for parents needing full time care.

Our mission at The Campus Downtown is to provide a nurturing environment in which the young child feels loved, respected, and valued. To nurture children in a stimulating, creative, and discovery-oriented program. We will create an atmosphere in which all children are accepted and loved for who they are in a safe and loving environment.
Stockton, California - The Campus, LLC, a highly anticipated state of the art urban toddler preschool center, will launch its web site today. Located in the historic Newberry Building at 123 North Sutter Street in downtown Stockton, The Campus will serve children 18 months to 5 years of age Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
That means we have to be lively both in how we work with children and each other and how we hire. We look for people who love children, love big challenges and welcome big changes on a daily basis. This is the core of how we hire. Our process is pretty basic; the path to getting hired usually involves a conversation with a recruiter, a phone interview and an onsite interview.
Our toddler program provides a nurturing, welcoming environment where your child can experience activities that support their fast paced development. The activities for this age group are built around your toddlers limitless curiosity and their natural desire to explore in their own way.
Children are able to engage in creative play that supports their symbolic thinking, language development and social interaction skills with other children all while being cared for by teachers that are experienced, educated and professional.To be eligible for this class your child must be 18 months old.

Our "Preschool" class is a specially designed curriculum with plenty of play. Children in this class will be introduced to language, math, science, and social skills in a sequence that is best suited to your child's unique needs. Curriculum in this class revolves around a biweekly theme and activities are planned around 6 main developmental areas.
