I cannot even begin to express the gratitude I have for George and GK Photography, but let’s start from the beginning! Wedding planning is exhausting, throw tropical storms, hurricane season, stay at home orders, a pandemic, and delay after delay into the mix and it’s downright ridiculous. However, George single-handedly made it the best experience and captured every moment from the beginning. First, a tropical storm blew through and moved our engagement session not once but twice, and George was always adaptable and flexible, which any bride planning a wedding knows that’s not the norm.

George was one of the most professional and easiest to work with vendors we hired for our wedding. He brought the stress level down DURING COVID and went above and beyond. He delivered on his promises (other vendors promised the world and didn't make good) and had such positive energy when working to get the shots. George did all the pre-planned things we had talked about, but when he saw a moment with perfect light at sunset, he quickly brought the bride and groom to the levee on the Mississippi River and took the most beautiful shots of the whole day. GK gave us more than we could have asked

George is such a fantastic wedding photographer! He went above and beyond for my bridals and my wedding day. He has such a great eye; he finds the best spots to take pictures! You just let him lead the way!
On my wedding day, he was so awesome directing my family and wedding party. He tells you exactly what to do so you can look your best! He moves fast so you don't miss much of your reception, which I really appreciated. During the reception, he was everywhere taking photos! He has so many great pictures, its hard to choose which are my favorites.

I did not know who or what I wanted when choosing our wedding photographer until I came across GK's website. I immediately contacted him. While we were on the phone, two of the things that stuck out to me were his incredibly fun personality and that he did not make me feel like I was a potential "client" or a "business". He made me feel so comfortable; as if we had known each other for years. This is natural for GK because he truly cares about you and capturing your biggest moments in the most beautiful ways. George is so much fun to work with and he truly contributes to the all around experience

I am still in awe. From the moment I hired George to be our wedding photographer, I couldn't wait to see what he came up with for our wedding day photos. We have been in the wedding industry ourselves for several years and came across him by accident and it was the best accident that happened to us. From day 1 I could tell George had a knack for capturing "moments"... the ones you don't know even know exist until they happen. George and his team were absolutely phenomenal! If you're looking for a photographer for your wedding, I highly recommend GK Photography. I shopped around for photographers and was immediately drawn to George's work I found online. If I could give 100 stars, I would. George is amazing, incredible, and extremely gifted. He has shot so many weddings I've been a part of but most recently, my own. George knows I'm very OCD and very time management oriented. We had a secret cue for him to tell me to turn that obsessiveness off and to just enjoy. I know he used it once. We had an amazing day and George was able to capture every single image I wanted and had printed reminders of as well as 1400 others I never expected to have. From the moment George walked into the room, I could feel the positive energy he radiates. Not only is he talented, which is obvious from the amazing photos, he's kind and we all loved him-bridesmaids, moms, grandmothers, and the bride. His other gift is time-management. He knows exactly how long it takes for everything so we didn't have to worry about getting to the church on time or whether he was getting enough pictures. He's very spontaneous but in an organized way. He captured the day of our daughter's wedding to perfection and I am so happy with our photo memories. Thanks to everyone at GK
